Because I don't have the budget to immunize myself agains reflect. Right now ele reflect rares don't hurt at all with 1% lightning leech but when I crit with my miserable 5% chance and 150% default multi it DOES hurt.

I don't want to know how bad it is with 50% crit chance and 300% multi :D

If this was on softcore I would have gone the crit way though...

Here something from the Wiki.
"
Status ailments will continue to proliferate even after the affected target is dead, so long as it leaves a corpse. If a monster shatters when it dies, due to being frozen, it does not leave a corpse and will not continue to proliferate.


So i´m not sure if Proliferation is the best supporter for HoT. Another idea is maybe a 20Q Added Cold Damage or Fire Penetration.

You are absolutely right, the prolif to bosses only helps with trash mobs around. And since trash is shattered to pieces in seconds it's a wasted gem.

Like your idea about the 20q added cold!

But why fire pen? HoT does not deal fire damage in this spec.

Sry. My fault^^ I mean Lightning Pen.

I think the freeze chance from passives and Ball Lightning should be enough, but it would need to be tested which supporter works better.

Lightning Pen would work a little bit like Proliferation, but as Dmg support.
High HP Mobs will take more damage from HoT because of Penetration and with 20% Q +10% dmg from the Strikes too.
And if the Strikes freeze it will last longer because of more dmg.

Only an idea^^

Do you know if Conductivity shock-chance works on HoI?
SkillGem says: "...Chance to be shocked by Lightning Damage".
If this is true Elemental Weakness will be the better choice.

Oh man, you are absolutely right. I'm a dumbass for not reading the Conductivity gem properly. Facepalm :D

I did a google/forum search and Conductivity really only increases the shock chance with lightning damage.

Thus, I changed the build guide to use Elemental Weakness instead. Correctly corrupted Asenath's make even more sense now ;)

What could you do with this build with some more currency to make it more HC viable?
Any way to use CoD? Maybe get the aura nodes?
What other gear would u change with great budget? Or what to change in skill tree?

I'm liking the feel of this build but feel CoD would be a great addition, but can't use with more than 3 aura?
