Q about Burning arrow with Blackgleam unique quiver.
burning arrow adds 30% fire dmg to physical dmg. blackgleam converts 50% phys dmg to fire. lets say my bow does 100physical dmg. Which resolves first? 1) if burning arrow resolved first: burning arrow: +30 fire dmg blackgleam: 50phys, 50 fire or 2) if blackgleam resolves first: blackgleam: 50 phys, 50 fire burning arrow: 30% of 50 phys = +15 fire dmg ? |

" Yeah, I want someone to point out where my math went wrong there. I also don't understand this equation or it seems wrong too. Gems have a base skill cost, but AFAIK there is no +flat to skill cost. Maybe that is a general thing for damage. It seems like the game rounds up at one point and down at another, but even with that there is no way to come out with 102 I see. |

"#1 they technically happen at same time but only converted amount is subtracted from physical. like: 100 physical *0.8 = 80 fire 100 physical - 50 [from 100 * 0.5] = 50 physical |

" so what would happen if i had Lightning Arrow and Black Gleam using a 150phys dmg bow? LA = 50% of phys converted to lightning dmg Blackgleem= 50% of phys converted to fire dmg do i end up with 75 lightning, 75 fire, 0 physical dmg? Last edited by Pi314#5955 on Mar 10, 2013, 3:31:14 PM

Please add "how XP is shared across a party by members of different levels" to the base post? I have come across the info in various places, but this seems like a good topic for the base post.
Thanks! |

I can't find this bit of info in the Mechanics article, wonder if someone can help me.
Concerning Energy Shield, I know the formula for recharge delay is: 6 * (100 / (100 + increased recovery)), but I'm wondering if someone can confirm the formula for the rate of ES recovery [once ES CD is off]? I did some very quick math in game by putting various bits of gear on/off and a rather simple formula came back: Energy Shield Recovery Per Second = Max Energy Shield / 3 seems too simple, but not everything has to be complicated I guess. |
