Final 0.9.3 Patch Notes

anything in this patch to prevent lag and de-sync?
i'm located in europe but on a ultra fast cable connection.

but still experiencing:

- short lag by entering every instance
- constant short lags all 1-2 sec (its like a short pause, very annoying)
- mysterious teleports across few screens (usually in the middle of some angry mobs)
- getting shooted by mobs i can't actually see (usually sandspitters. they follow me accros the map and shoot me. i hear them and i loose life but i can't see them)

all of this while playing alone. it gets whorse in group play.

I really like that skills and gems are getting expanded upon so frequently, because that's the delicious marshmallow filling this game has. :)

This is what happening to me as well. Will 0.9.3 include fixes for that bugs? Its pretty annoying to die for example at level 45 hard core because of things like that.

We have made incremental improvements to make things more stable, but I suspect there will still be some issues like that occasionally which we'll try to clear up as the beta progresses. We're very interested in hearing your feedback on whether you still have the above problems with 0.9.3.

  • Added monster auras. Rare monsters can now spawn with an aura which affects nearby monsters. These can stack if multiple rare monsters are nearby. Auras added in this version are: Resistances, Energy Shield, Accuracy/Critical Strike Rate, Speed, Damage Reflection, Elemental Damage Reflection, Medium Damage Increase, Large Damage Increase, Life Regeneration.

  • Will players also be able to get these auras before or at the game´s release?

  • Added quartermaster voice intro in the ship scene when creating a new character.

  • Is this the start of a fully voiced game ? Dialogs , monsters , random talk from npc´s etc

  • Added a wind effect to the Ledge and Rocky Climb.


  • Will we with time se effects like this implemented on the rest of the world ?

  • The critical strike system has been changed so that your weapon and/or spell have a direct critical strike percentage that other things modify. For example, if you're using a weapon with 8% critical strike chance and have a total of +50% critical strikes from your passive skills and items, then you have a 12% chance to score a critical hit. The old "critical strike rating system" is gone. To clarify a common misconception - spell critical strikes do include the normal critical strike chance.


  • Thank you GGG kindly for this ! On a side-note , will there be any effect that will showcase when i get a crit happen ? Atm im unsure when / if they accure


  • Double Strike is now disabled on bows (and wands). It was far too abusive and will be replaced by much more interesting single-target bow skills soon.

  • Great to hear ! Would there possible be more range AoE ability's added. Also getting added to wand users ? Semilure along the ides of Explosive arrow & split arrow
