I'm not sure what I'm missing, but how do you get 100k? I'm seeing 5.8k DPS?

Even with stage 3 incinerate at 300% "more", you'd get 5.8 x 4 = 23.2k?
GMP = 5 projectiles.

Ok, today ive tryed second Atziri .... Vaals went much better since i knew that i have to kill them at once and not like last time when i killed one and then get raped with bossted other :)

But the issue was with three generals ... first time, i killed the fire one first, cyclone second and the woman last, it was hard, she does quite some damage. i read that she should be killed first, then the cyclone one and the fire, dual strike one last, becouse he does nothing ... well .... when he was last boss alive ... i killed me 6 times in 2-3 seconds ... i dont know how, mt armor flask is up, my fire flask is up and he just come to me and im dead ... any ideas? thx

Read the Atziri section in the main post. I talk very briefly about the trio.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it is inherently not Uber viable without some severe modifications to the setup. That is, Cloak of Defiance is inherently not Uber-viable without synergizing it with damage avoidance mechanisms.

If I were rich enough to get a handful of Hopes, I would absolutely run Uber with the following modifications:

Overall, I'd take the flask nodes to buff flasks.

For Vaal, I would run drop a herald (oh no) to run PoL + Topaz at all times on top of Topaz. That will give 96% light res.

For the Trio, I don't know - I guess I would use Rumi + Jade flask at all times, and potentially pick up a Kaom's Roots. I would definitely make modifications to my EC/IC setup.

For Atziri herself, I'd drop CoD in favor of a high-life chest (or potentially BotB), drop one herald, and use the excess mana to run double PoL/PoF at level 20. With the flask nodes and Saffell, this should give 96% fire/light resist and no CoD, which is far more Uber-viable than 89% resist with CoD.

Hey, great build! So far I'm lvl 59 and I managed to got this far in just 2 days, playing only after work time!

There is no way I'm going to be able to afford a Doryani's Catalyst, at least in the near future.

Can someone tell me if the Moonsorrow wand is a viable option?

I've been using Brutus' Sceptre until now and I need un upgrade.

Moonsorrow or rare wand? If rare, which stats to look for?

Thanks for any replies!

Get a rare wand, you can find a decent cast/spell one that outperforms Moonsorrow for a very low price.

The order of priority is as follows:
Spell damage (at least 70%)
Cast speed (at least 10%)
If possible, projectile speed (~20%-30%)

And keep in mind that spell damage to cast speed ratio is roughly 10:4 (depending on gems, gearsets, etc.), so you should consider a 80/10 wand to be equal to a 70/14 wand, which is equal to a 60/18 wand.

Fire damage is a bonus but not necessary and not particularly effective.

I would disagree. I used

and

before I got
.
The Doryani's added about 4% to my DPS over the moonsorrow which had about the same DPS as my rare wand, or maybe just 0.5% less.
You can't even notice the difference really. Lifesprig is also just as good.

The build is not gear dependent for damage at all. Quality on gems and more links does far more than better gear.

So far I'm using the Moonsorrow and at least for Merciless it's a cakewalk :).

I bought a 5l CoD this morning and added chaos dmg to my set. That made me extremely poor :(.

All my currency was spent on the chest ("all my currency" = 1 ex, lol - oh RNG, be on my side once in my life!), so I only have 10 chaos left...

I found a 70% spell dmg, 19% cast speed, 20% projectile speed wand for that price, but that leaves me with no currency to invest on a good pair of gloves.

My buffed tootip dmg (herald of ice and herald of thunder + lvl 1 added chaos dmg) with the Moonsorrow is 1.9k.

Is the rare wand I found really worth the cost? How much of an impact does the projectile speed, spell dmg and casting speed make? I mean, my Moonsorrow has 54% spell dmg and 10% cast speed, and it has the lvl 5 blind support. I don't have any experience with the witch class, so I can't really value a good wand and the impact it does on dmg.

Shouldn't I prioritize a pair of gloves and jewelry next?

Here's my gear right now:

Would that be because your rare wand aint anything special? 0% cast speed nor projectile speed. Ofc projectile speed wouldn't affect dps, but will result faster clearing times due to longer range. The cast speed is one main thing when using incinerate.
