[1.3][WIP] Kinetic Blast + AA + EB + Vaal Pact - Leveling Progression + Crafting + Videos

It's the attack speed on the base 1.3 on the new one, you want 1.5 ideally, you can't roll attack speed on your new wand unfortunately, I recommend using the Faster Attacks gem with a phys wand like that.



Doing 4.5k at level 75 now with this wand and 5L: KB + WeD + Crit Multi + Phys Proj + LMP.

Vaal Power Siphon + Phys Proj.

Auras: Hatred, Herald of Ash, Herald of Thunder, Clarity.



Leveling in to much more damage, can't wait to see, it's not insane clear speed, a bit slow compared to arc or SRS, but it has potential.

I crafted that wand with about 50 alts, 30 augs, a regal, a granite flask and Tora mod cost, check the OP for crafting method, can potentially get better than if you bought. Unless you get a nice deal!

Also crafting a new helm that I found 4L, it's ilvl 69 - would prefer 70+ life, but this is worth keeping as is:



I still need to find some 4L high level armour / ES gloves to craft, maybe just buy an upgrade. I may go for Evasion / ES on gloves, but it could be a bit hard to get the RBBB colours, not many chroms on me.

What G said, It comes down to the speed.

Your first old one has a dps of 123, New one has a dps of 121. Attack speed is definitely key.

i have 4L with Life leech - LMP - KB - WeD, nearly same passive tree with MrG, run with all Heralds and Clarity, and i have only 1k8 DPS on KB, without Life leech it's a bit dangerous for me, guess i will solo Dock till lv 75 then find a way on my wand later

The attack speed on the wand also scales the damage from Auras, so 1.5 is almost always better than 1.3.

With the 2% physical damage leech to life from the passive tree and a good level arctic armour I didn't use life leech gem at all, still not using it, sub in Physical Projectile Damage, that will increase your leech amount as well as your damage.

Also invest a few alts into Seething or Bubbling Flasks:

I keep swapping between Faster Attacks and Phys Proj, so I definitely think the best 6L at the moment would be:

KB + WeD + Phys Proj + LMP/GMP + Crit Multi/Conc + Faster Attacks.

Then you just have to swap WeD for Life Leech whenever you do reflect maps, I think it might be possible that high phys life leech (gear or Blood Rage) + Vaal Pact will save you from random ele reflect packs.

I want to work in pierce some how, but I don't like Projectiles Weakness because Ass. Mark gives power charges.

Phys reflect should be fine, Arctic Armour handles most of that.

btw MrG, i notoice when i run maps with people my dps from 2k1 to 4k7 in a huge amazing thing, later i figure it ou that Wraith aura do the thing, so now i run with HoI HoT Wraith Clarity, AA, and have 111 mana left spend on skills

i still wonder why you can get 187 mana regen, the only thing you got more than me is your necklace, i have lv 17 clarity and only 112 mana regen for me

Yeah, my amulet has 80% mana regen, which would be about double the %regen you have from just the passive tree, once you level Elreon a bit you can add about 30% mana regen to rings/amulets.

I used Fire Trap and Searing Bond to help kill bosses prior to getting decent damage, it helps quite a lot, I still don't have huge single target but it's getting better.

I'm using Power Siphon now linked with Faster Attack, Physical Projectile Damage and Item Rarity for more boss/rare loot, but if I used crit multi it would be 7.5k dps, 5.5k without.

Wrath will be good early, but late game I think Hatred will be better damage, as well as nice freezes. If you have a Frenzy or Power Siphon test that out for single target damage as well.

Have you tried getting some Pierce (gem or passives)? It should significantly improve your AOE.

I haven't felt the need yet, but I did find a 15% quality Projectile Weakness gem, that should be good enough to curse with.

@xfatal, about the single target damage, someone else suggested spawning a Frost Wall behind the boss so that you can bounce the shots off of it to shotgun - I still haven't tested that myself but it should work.

Potential Gear Set-up Late Game if I use Rat Cage (replace Purity of Fire with HoT if not):

Level 78: Ready for Vaal Pact: Damage scaling is starting to kick in now and if I had life on all pieces of my gear I would be around 4k life, still finding / crafting and buying gear at the moment, not sure how much leech I will need for Vaal Pact so bought a 2% leech amulet for 1 chaos. Also bought new gloves for 1 chaos, added leech to them with Haku. Added physical damage on rings/amulets is really starting to show its value, so look for or alch some diamond rings for +physical damage.

Doing 7.2k at the moment, starting to need Vaal Pact, and if you forget to put Arctic Armour on you better have your Jade Flask ready if a physical reflect pack rolls up. Don't seem to take too much from small elemental reflect packs, but I wouldn't risk doing an 18% elemental reflect map.

Stats: 3.8k Life, 8% phys life leech, 7.2k DPS, 69% crit, 365% multi, 86% chance to hit (may need more on gear soon), 133 Mana Regen (testing new amulets), 6k Evasion with Jade Flask (need to roll a 90%+ Evasion one).
