[2.0] Terror's "Shatter Chuck Lite" Variant •• Barrage CoC •• 280k+ DPS •• Atziri w/ 5-Link

I'm playing this build now and not counting my clumsiness with aiming when the screen is cluttered with tons of dead (like in Daresso's maps) I enjoy it very much. Special thanks for the VMS-Spell Echo-LL combo idea, it was completely new to me and really works!

I have two questions:

- doesn't the cold/fire dmg cluster with the +30% crit chance (below EB) worth the points? I use Arctic Breath and Fireball, so it would boost both cold and fire dmg with 53% plus the global crit chance.

- just to serve my curiosity, is there a way to check the DPS of this build? I tried some wands, but in the end I picked one which seemed OK, as the tooltip shows only the meager Barrage dmg, not the really important spell ones.

The witch tree doesnt seem to work, it says it's trying to use an older version of the tree! D:

1. I still use the old calc and just cap procs at around 16-18 procs/sec (Barrage). I'd update it but it's pointless and inaccurate since GGG won't release the actual Barrage breakdown for me to math.
2. I Granite Flask. Always. Every group. I'm also using Arctic Breath so everything is frozen/slowed.

Take the path toward Shadow and finish that whole line. Grab the Scion ele starter nodes when you need them.

Shadow then Witch. I hate doing leveling breakdowns. It's based on what you need at the time. Push crit to get into CoC faster and grab health when you need it.

You could grab it, sure. Gonna lose some health though.

I sort-of answered this up higher in this post but no, there's no easy way. I just use farky calculations since GGG won't release the number breakdown for Barrage (and the timing is WAY to small to "figure out" in game.)
I actually "tooltip warriored" my dps out to like 1.5 million under specific conditions. Honestly, that's what half the posts on the forums do but it's cheesy and not really honest. It's all "ideal conditions" mumbo-jumbo. I preferred to throw out the DPS most often done in a map, for example (maybe with a little cheese, I don't perma-RF AND Bloodrage in some maps.)

Is Void Battery any good for this build ?

Why do you use Unwavering stance?

Void Battery isn't great (esp. considering price). Rare is much better.

I use Unwavering Stance because I hate being stunlocked to death when I could have easily lived.

This might have been answered before but do I need to level barrage?

EDIT: No, it just increases mana cost.

Is getting physical damage going to help in any way? On the weapon I mean.

I have a 10.64 crit wand but there are some really cheap 11+ wands on sale. Is that much Base crit increase worth spending 10 odd chaos for?

EDIT: Hell yes. Borrowed a 12% wand from a mate and with just 5 charges I'm sitting on 89% crit chance (Rat's Nest and Maligaro's). With the 6th charge, it should be almost capped (not that its really required)



Can't wait to get into maps. Might even try Atziri!

Thinking about a Cyclone-based Discharge CoC character, any recommendations? Something with a passive tree close to this one maybe?
