That's just a magic 75 map, and it doesn't look that fast. As soon as you hit a non-linear pack you're having trouble clearing them. I do believe a piece of Elreon jewelry is a pretty good idea, but I remain unconvinced that a 3-spell combo can hold a candle to GMP 2-spell for clear speed. I wish the elreon amulet didn't cause me to lose all the nice crit mult and spell damage (and higher crit chance) I had on the other one, but the -8 mana is pretty nice on a quality of life level.

Hi Justin,

Your build do away with Unweavering stance and Acrobat, surviving with Oak's Heart (and probably some evasion).

Does it serves you well? I am currently using unweavering stance without acrobat, and the lack of evasion caused several deaths for me so far. I am currently using cold snap with GMP tornado arrow, so basically attacking from a range.

I don't make videos, but if you're willing to take my word for it, I just ran my own 75 plateau map (rare, but not with any particularly annoying mods, like 75% resistance to cold/lightning; just goatmen annoyingly jumping behind me) and encountered several elemental resistance rares. I barely noticed before they died. Close range FP and RF just melts things at that monster level. Even at mid to long range the FP was laying waste to stuff; entire packs would shatter on one attack.

Now whether I fare better against a major one-one-one boss fight is a much different story. I might switch to a three spell setup there, but my initial experience with that is that it is also weaker. I expect my relative deficit in crit chance and crit mult on my spells to be a bigger factor than the actual gem setup, as I should run a higher chance of bad luck preventing me from killing them fast enough to save myself.

We'll see as things continue to play out and develop.

I chill/freeze/shatter most things so I don't have to worry much about being hit. AB coats the ground in ice, and FP fills in the gaps of AB to insure nothing gets through without being frozen or at least chilled. Whites die basically instantly, blues in 1sec, and rares id say in 2 or 3 sec. I just try to always stay out of reach. For bosses I just try and play smart. I use a instant flask if I do manage to take a hard hit. If I ever have problems I can always drop a herald and arctic armour and run grace, takes me from 24% evasion to 44%.

If you watched Terror's video you will see that he is not using GMP, Vincent Yu on the first video is not using GMP.

Even Cap(second video), the guy that created the shatter chuck build is not using GMP because is not effective anymore.

Also, you don't have to take there word for it, they present evidence.

GMP Shotgun is dead, the game has changed, learn to adapt.

Sorry to inform you but you tree if very flawed.
You waste to much skill points traveling across the skill tree, you have very few life nodes and you insist of taking projectile damage in game patch 2.0 where GMP shotgun is dead.

I mean you even have a chance to take a 6% life node but you ignored it and you took a 5% one instead

You spend 115 where you can do way way better with just 108.

I disagree with like everything you said! Not to mention what the hell does projectile dmg have to do with gmp, all the spells we use have PROJECTILE tag...thus increasing the dmg, has nothing to do with GMP at all. The only exceptions to this is AOE abilities, and single target abilities that don't have the tag...which I have no interest in using! And you don't need to switch out GMP for single target abilities at all if you have the stats and dmg. And for health I have over 4k life, which is the average of a budget life CoC'r..........

And shotgunning may be dead, BUT some things still have a shotgun effect...arctic breath for example, and fireball...the explosion can still shotgun.

And id love to see you do it better, without leaving out ANY crit, crit multi, spell crit, accuracy, resist, and other core stats I have! I sat for hours experimenting with the offline tree before release, trying different variations...I even attempted to go down on the bottom of ranger, didn't like the stat outcome.......
