[1.3] LVL84 FoxTactic's Arctic Fire Nova "Torment L 20000dps"

Hope you didn't give up on this fire nova build. I looked for you to be streaming haven't seen you since 1.3. Looking forward to see what the current state of the build is.

IMO you want to run PoH with any ice nova spec. Not only doubles your mana so you dont have to waste nodes chasing mana around tree it's a 7L too.

Im Over 24K with similar spec. Still not as much DPS as my "Supernova" crit nova build but maybe elemental weakness makes up.

What I like I only need one gem swap on Atiziri - - flame surge. Also reflect no issue due to 24AA, converting to fire, and running added chaos to defer some damage so I can drop vaal pact compared to "supernova"

So when you do get a 6L, what's your plan for retaining the dual curse?

EDIT - I guess you could just hardcast one and then LW to get the other curse on. But seems like more work. :(

Gloves can have elemental weakness vaaled.

I'm doing a witch with this build on torment, and thing are going very well, even though I don't have much currency to buy nice items.
It's a really fun build and i'm oneshotting most enemies.

Current setup of Torment league, gonna keep updating, now pushing 18k dps, FAAAAAAAAR from done with this build, and facerolling everything including lvl77 maps. Lvl84 and going strong.

Curious why you've gone Heart of Ice instead of Heart of Flame when the cold penetration won't work with Pyre? Also, reason for no Fire Penetration gem?

Here's a RF tree I was thinking about, should be able to sustain RF with a RotP, Level 17 Purity of Fire and any level Vitality. You get about 11.1% regen from the tree, though I don't think you'll be able to spec into Inner Force. Just an idea in case you can't obtain a level 23 PoF.


Scold's Bridle is absolutely insane for this build, very nice damage boost and you barely feel the reflect damage due to high life regen and arctic armour. It may be a possible choice once you obtain elemental weakness gloves and can move Ice Nova from the helm to your chest. Just a thought.

I too would like to know reason for Heart of flame/Heart of ice.

Also, would getting windscream boots or damning amulet be better for spending the 4 pts elsewhere?
