new catalyst drivers even came out this week i thought maybe that would fix the black screen+ hard reboot but its still the exact same problem. i wwant to play

help is on the way,GGG were kind enough to order the problematic card in question and run some tests on it. Apparently they now found the problem and hopefully can fix it in due time. Great news for any Radeon 6xxx users! Also, sign that GGG cares. To me anyway thats a company i want to support

Our tech specialist would be able to give real details, but from what I understood it looks like the card does some different things with priorities that can mean that processing power is almost entirely cut to some processes when Path of Exile is running... This isn't really my forte, but it does sound like we at least know what the problem is, if not how to fix it! I'll keep on their case so it isn't forgotten. If you can try closing all other processes or something similar and see if it makes a difference, it'd be good to know, but we'll still have to figure out what is going on with the card that is causing all of this. Don't forget to drink your milk 👌

Great news, thx for sharing. Hope they figure it out, and that it fixes the fps drops aswell as the bsods and freezes.

I've tried the mentioned closing of all processes by shutting anything down that wasn't needed, even the explorer process.
Didn't change anything - fps drops to 0 every few seconds in groups as well as PC freezes still occured. IGN: Darkrox (not my main, just for easy contact)
