Account has been hacked.

Today when I logged into my account, I saw that all my high currency has been stolen from my stash. I had about 4 GCPs, 15 Chaos, 10 Alchemy, 10 Chromatics and some minor stuff on the first page of my stash.

Since I am using a pretty safe password, which I do not use in other places than PoE, I am really confused how this could have happened. There is also a firewall and malware detection installed on my system.

I did not use any leveling services or such, no one else had access to my account.

There MUST be a way GGG logs stuff like logins etc. so pleeeease take these things serious and have a look at what happened. PoE is such a great game, but in an unsafe environment, noone wants to play.

Welcome i want to announce that i have been robbed, someone stole my items, my 5L axe, all my chaos, fussing, divine, and WTF im suppose to do now ? this is the first game that someone stole my items, for few years that I play mmo only here some faking ashole stole my items. I want to know what are you going to do with this ? I lost 3 regals, 4 GCP, 16 chaoses, 15 alchemy, 1 divine, 24 jewelcrafting , and 4 fusing, and my 5L axe, that was a currai chopper with 420 damage and 1.18 speed (It has a bonus speed) , I also lost the many of quality gems like “chain” or "GMP". If someone will find an auction with that axe pls let me know. Did a full scan and my antivir didn't find anything, so the thief had my password, email and other account's and not touched only this, so GGG security SUX big time, the password was uniqe and i didn't enter any suspicious sites, only PoE official and PoE-Wiki.

Same here just logged in... Got scammed. Lost my orbs, my maps, my 5L's and 1 unique... Never done strage things, never told anyone my password... I'm totally lost now...

Logged today and what I see: almost all my orbs stolen, only those of little to no value still in the stash. Strange thing I saw about it is that I had 0 friends acceped and now there is a guy named YUAN58966 in my friend list who I am sure I never accepted. Can GGG do something about it I have been playing the game from the closed beta stage and would be sad to quit it now, as probably I won't be playing it if I won't get my items back.

BTW guys we are all getting hacked because Chris mother fucking Wilson thought it would be a good idea to publicly announce security upgrades to their systems BEFORE THEY IMPLEMENTED THEM.

So, basically, Chris is entirely to blame for all of us getting hacked. If he wasn't a complete idiot and had the slightest bit of common sense none of this would be happening.

You don't publicly announce shit like that, Chris. You keep it in the dark because once the hackers see that you're upgrading security they are forced to act fast; which is what we're seeing now. Hundreds, potentially thousands of accounts compromised because of you.

Edit: Also I hate being called a cheater and accused of using 3rd party programs because of this. No, I'm a 100% legit player just like everyone else. Get your head out of your ass and realize how insane it is to think so many people are scumbags and try to hack your game. It simply isn't true.

GGG you should change your pollicy of not giving back item's, until to the fime you fix the security, cuz wee all lost many items and if hackers steal passwords and mails from you what point in playing ? we will play get more orb's, gear and they will steal pw from you again. You should be scanning the website for out items not sitting around, and send some funny auto-respons mails. Ppl don't give a fu.k about you promices they wan't actions, result's. When someone stole my gold and rare item;s in WoW about 3 years ago, afer 4 day's i had all the gold and all item,s back. The attack happened max 12 hours ago, so you can scan the website, selling and shop district for threads that appeare areound 12h ago and look for my axe there, same thing you can do with other ppl items, cuz im lvl 78 with no weapon and no orbs to buy a new one., one big question for you GGG WTF im suppose to play now ?

That was a Kurrai Chopper 20%
minimum damage around 290, max damage above 420, 11-23 frost damage,
16-28 physical damage, around 125% physical damage, 12% speed so the axe was 1.12
and i had 26% crit strike chance, i made it 5S and 5L RRRRG.
those informations should be enough for find it.

and dont you think that if you got your orbs back and everyone else got there orbs back, then the hackers sold theres there would be twice as many orbs on the market...

so your GCP might be worth 3 chaos today, tomorrow it would be worth a scroll of portal..

this is why they are not restoring accounts that got hacked

Screw the orbs, i want my weapon back, tell me how im suppose to play on 78 lvl with no weapon ? and no orbs to buy one ? make a new char grind to lvl 70 and they will hack me again cuz seccurity here suck. With a weapon i will bump up and make some money.
