Account has been hacked.
Adding my account to the list of Missing Items, ALL of my currency vanished from my account when I logged in today.
I have never used Hacks / 3rd party software Original Password and Complex at that. Never had or answered a PM or Email Never posted Config Files I hardly even use this computer to surf the internet. From everything I can gather this must be internal database leaking. It is also extremely frustrating and potentially a game ending experience if not rectified. |

" Just ignore the Lask001 message. He considers himself smarter than everyone else and he is absolutely useless in this topic. Most likely he's just a forum troll... |

" If the database was stolen, it would have been discovered. And if it were deciphered, it would have broken the top 100 players. This is more like as an attack Man-in-middle, where packets from the client to the server, do not move directly, but through a hacker. This attack is in most cases not noticeable either by the client or the server side. In the case of an attack on the site you can see invalid SSL certificate. However, with the game server detect such attack is more complicated. Sorry for bad english. Last edited by getsby86#7407 on Feb 9, 2013, 5:16:04 PM

" That is only if the Database of all users is located in one area. It is very possible that it is subsidized and that all users within a certain base were compromised. Anyways the main issue here still seems to stem from an information security issue database to server to client side rather than lying with a users inability to protect their information. |

" Just lol. I work with databases all day long. You don't know what you are talking about. |

" Go troll somewhere else, everyone already know you are full of shit. |

" Calling my a troll because my opinion is unpopular is silly. The word you are looking for is asshole, because I'm not going to coddle people who are being stupid about this. There is nothing wrong with asking GGG if something maybe happened on their end, but when they pretty clearly state that they are secure, you don't have much to stand on. Anyone who is reasonably knowledgeable about IT security knows that the end users is always the least secure point of a system. It simply does not make sense that hackers would target GGG to steal hashes or passwords, when end users are much easier to trick. Beyond that, if they did have access to a "man-in the middle attack" (which wouldn't work unless you were on a vpn on THEIR network..., but for the sake of the argument...) why would they target nobodies? The true "proof" that it's the end users fault is no big name accounts, or top ladder accounts have been hacked. The database speak from the other posts... pure drivel. " You have nothing to validate a single thing you're saying. If it was something that the players who have been hacked clicked on, what was it? That's what we're trying to figure out. You're doing nothing here besides making yourself look like the child you are. Go. The. Fuck. Away. |

Well, besides the fact that I pointed, and at least one other pointed out, the multiple phishing links that have been posted around these forums, I guess you could say I haven't really "proven anything".
Have you? Other than your silly little comment to Chris "As one business owner to another, take the servers down" and threatening him with the fact that they might lose everything, what have you added? Oh wait, that doesn't add anything either, other than you pretending that you know what you are talking about. You call my a child, and that may be so, because honestly I do get a little giggle out of how silly your comments are, but at least I'm an informed child. I will take being immature over being ignorant and misinformed any day. |

Some people in this thread might be clueless but can you stop insulting others please? You don't have to behave like that to get your point across.
