That doesn't even make sense. That's like preschool level "I know you are but what I am" kind of shit.

But here, I can break it down to so it's easy to understand. I still have my account, and the people I'm insulting don't. No matter what anyone says, I win.

Oh, maybe this is temporary. As said before - not ideally secure systems =)

And that's no reason to insult complete strangers to you people without any kind was a compelling reason.
I also had my entire currency stash raided. My kaspersky never showed up with any intrusions or anything so im prety sure my comp is clean. Realy sucks losin all the chaos divine and regals i had builded up over last weeks of playin. Ive not visited any other poe related websites either. And im using a unique pass and username. It has happened somewhere in between when i bought the valentines hearth cosmetic and when i logged on today.
Fuck this excuse, it's GGG's fault if they didn't implement some sort of security check beforehand.

We're talking about a few hundreds cases, the impact on the economy is so small it doesn't even matter.

That's right. It has a very, very small impact on the economy of the game as a whole and an extremely huge impact on the individuals effected.

My best guess is that they have this policy in place because they just don't have the man power to actually go about doing restorations, they don't even have the man power to read emails sent to their "support" department.

Even Blizzard-Activision has fallen victim to third party programs inside of their company, to say that GGG, a tiny company of a few guys in a tiny office, is immune to that while the largest gaming company that has ever been isn't is just flat out stupid.

Also, I would really like to see a SINGLE example of account restorations "ruining economies". I wont though, as there isn't one.

A few accounts worth of orbs out of millions and millions is such an insignificant amount. Not to mention if they actually did have the ability to find the accounts that these items have gone to then they would certainly ban those accounts, removing the items from the game.

The policy of not restoring items means only one of two things -

1) They simply don't have the ability or know-how to find the accounts the stolen items are being funneled through.

OR

2) They can find the accounts and ban the items, and refuse to restore them to keep the value of their economy high knowing that it comes from a loss to their players.

It has nothing to do with "flooding the market".

Bugs Under Attack
Attackers exploited CVE-2013-0633 via a booby-trapped Microsoft Word document containing malicious Flash code attached to an email. This exploited targeted the ActiveX version of Flash Player on Windows, according to Adobe. A successful compromise would result in the attacker being able to remotely execute code and have full control, Adobe warned.

The other vulnerability, CVE-2013-0634, targeted Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X. Users who landed on the website hosting malicious Flash content triggered a drive-by-download attack. A drive-by-download refers to a style of attack that executes automatically without the user having to do anything. This vulnerability is also being used against Windows users via malicious Word documents. This bug, if exploited successfully, would also give the attacker full control of the computer.

Just an idea of how passwords can be stolen. Some one even remembered downloading a doc on google docs.

What sucks badly is that no one is trying to even realize where from or how the hack has happend. This tread is a falme/insult-fest and a i-want-my-stuff-back. First should stop if we want to see how ppl lose their shit and second is not going to happen.
