[1.3.0] Jaws of Agony Crit Trapper - Edited build for next HC League

Concept:
Jaws of Agony unique item allows for the generation of power charges from throwing traps on ground. The chance of generating power charge may only be 15%, but the multiple traps support gem rolls 3 separate times for the power charge generation. This makes it possible to have 100% up time on 7 power charges allowing us to crit with traps, proliferating burn, shock, and freeze statuses. And lastly, Herald of thunder is used paired with curse on hit to proc the constant stream of assassin's mark curse; allowing us to crit more often and hit harder when I crit. character progression:

What's my DPS? Does it matter? I 1~2 shot uniques with fire trap ;) But, if you so desire, it's currently sitting at 9.2k Avg Dps on fire trap(lvl 73) Why isn't my clarity linked with reduced mana? I don't have any space as you can see. Losing lightning warp + reduced duration is not going to happen. What are the stats priorities? Weapon: Crit chance 80%+, Spell/Ele Damage, Crit multi any% Amulets and Rings: Res, life, mana regen, Crit global, crit multi Do I need to have Cloak of Defiance It's the only defensive mechanism we have with arctic armour and cwdt. Do I run out of mana? Nope, I spam all 4 of my traps and I dont run out of mana with arctic armour on. Was planning on using this build, but I have a couple questions. First, why no multi-trap on fire trap gem? Second, would it be better to remove Lightning Trap and Ele Prolif and put in Increased Crit and Increased Crit Multi on the shield?

Will the crit still be viable in 1.3/how would the tree look in 1.03?

I updated the build w/ new tree as requested.
@FrooostyTheBlowman ~ yes, It will still do work just not as much @egwenejs ~ we don't link bear trap to anything because it isn't for damage purpose but to proc the power charge. Stuffs like bossses die to fire trap prolife in one shot, so it's not necessary. @mclovinit ~ maybe in the next league i'll post a video |

I really like this idea. I started a trapper a while back and it was frankly lackluster, but maybe the crit and power charges will make it worthwhile, assuming I can get over my dislike of trap cool down times!

If you have GG gears that give way too much resistances try it out and see how u like it. " I lvled with fire trap from the start. |
