Skyforth presents: Glaciator. RIP BUILD. GGG can let me down one last time.

Since I prefer not to press too many buttons. I'm actually using

instead of my good belt here:

Farming merc docks now, and I almost ripped when I leap slammed into a horde or mobs + beyonder + boss @.@

Just wanna learn here, so here's a noob questions:
1. How important is attack speed for this build?
2. How important is crit chance this build? Higher crit chance means chance for freezing?
3. How high should your crit chance be?
4. Is there a difference when you put the rare mace on the left hand slot, right hand for prismatic eclipse, or vice versa?
5. How important should is a 3R Prismatic eclipse? Would GS/GH get more AOE if we have a white socket?
6. What would be the difference when this build is using 2H mace? More DPS, but less block? Hardcore viable? Pros and Cons?
I thought about this when I saw this 2h unique, http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Marohi_Erqi.
Gems in this item are supported by level 15 Increased Area of Effect. Cool.
7. My hands hurt (because I played a summoner before this..), What shortcut keys you guys have setup?

1. This is a melee build and so a lot of your attack speed comes from multistrike. You'll notice that FA isn't included on the gem setup.

2. Crit chance is your biggest dps multiplier, and is therefore one of the most important stats for this build.

3. With a good rare sceptre like
you should easily end up with 80+ crit chance in end game.

4. Putting mace in offhand will stop you from using ground slam.

5. A 3r eclipse gives a lot of increased phys, almost as much as the entire bone breaker cluster. That is pretty huge for dps.

6. You wouldn't use a 2h mace but rather a staff (remember crit is most important). However that is an entirely different build.

7.I just use default setup with main attack on right click and single target on middle mouse. The movement skill goes to where my index finger can reach easily (my fingers rest on flasks). The rest is up to you.
For try, for see, and for know.

This is a buff
Client frozed for 1-2 sec. And then I got DC. So logged on, and voala! Standard! Coil is now 3-5c! I should've known better to alt+f4.

Oh well, just sharing. Any advice, should I try to still play my toon and play like I'm still in Beyond? Maybe imagine those beyond friends we have.

Edit:
Man it just doesn't feel right.. I can't continue my toon on standard.

Tried theorycrafting more melee builds. They all feel slow and ineffective :(

Just ripped my attempt at this build vs temple piety.

Level 75.

Not much damage (10k) and really poor life (3.8k) just wasn't going well vs anything remotely tough.

This is literally the best weapon I could get on beyond over the past 2 weeks. Pity had just picked up the 6L coil too.

(Had swapped out GSlam + Inc AOE for the Glac + Inc CC thinking I could keep her frozen... nope.)

Sorry to hear that, beerflasks. Ripped a coil earlier in Beyond by opening a Detonate Dead strongbox.

The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

Damn... by the look of those gems I'm guessing the rest of the gear wasn't too shit either.

I'm pretty much spent at this point w/ Beyond; not much currency left due to above, no high level maps left to push the EA witch through to level 96... so just calling it a day at this point.

This build (dual weild ungils crit ground slam) was fun vs hordes of relatively weak fodder at the mid 70's, and was able to start mapping at level 60 which was nice for a change, but clearly needed another 10-20 levels to make it workable vs end game content as shown by OP of this thread.

Not to mention a really really good sceptre which just seems tough to get a hold of on HC temp leagues.
@BeerPact
I need help!

I'm thinking about switching a few skills around. I'm too tired to do the math with blood rage. So what i'm thinking is respec out of the 'deadly precision' crit area, saving me 7 points. Dropping them instead into 'twin terrors' 5% more crit, but minus some dmg and multi. But i'd use my spare points to travel up to 'Purity of Flesh' nodes, picking up 20% chaos resist.

So my question is: How much life regen would I need with blood rage at -18 chaos resist? I'm guessing just right around 4.5% ? Also, is this a good idea?

This is the tree I'm thinking about for endgame:

Help would be great! I'm doing awesome with a 5L coil. Can't afford a 6L. Was also Kind of thinking playing a little safer, using lazhwar and rainbowstrides, but I don't think I can make up that much more resists on my other pieces of gear.

Temple piety is really tough, if she isn't frozen. RIP

Sounded like it was going faily well until that point hehe. For the most part the tree is extremely flexible to accommodate various options.

A level 20 Blood Rage has a 3.8% degen assuming for have no increased buff effects. 3.8*1.18 = 3.54% life regen.
