- Corrupted zones can now spawn in the map system. Minimum zone level for Sacrifice of Midnights is 66. The corrupted zone will be the one associated with the corresponding tileset.

-6 seconds Desync and Rubber-band effect are fixed and will never occur ever again especially when you are fighting Oak and 6 magic devourers at lvl 73 maps alone

Once a map has been corrupted the associated boss can drop a sacrifice fragment.

UI Menu updates:
- Added toggle for weather effects. - Added toggle for other players' MTX effects. - Added slider for particle effect amount. - Added toggle for 8 skill hotkeys (3 mouse, 5 keyboard) for setting attack while holding position as default for the skill assigned. - Added toggle for displaying itemlevel on items details. Forsaken Master updates: - 'of Crafting' mod cost changed from 2 exalted orbs to 80 chaos orbs. - Vagan's daily discount offer changed from '10 Orbs of Alchemy for 8 orbs of Regret' to ' 10 Orbs of Regret for 16 Orbs of Alchemy' - Zana's timed missions with gaining extra time by touching Lodestones are now removed. - Decorations can be sold back for 75% of their favor value. - Decorations and their variations can now be previewed before purchase. (Minimum itemlevel req: 60) - Corrupted Zones now appear in maps. - Portal Scrolls now can be assigned to 8 hotkeys like skills. Interface Updates - Debuff icons now appear in a second line beneath Buff icons. Skill Updates - New support gem released: Heroism (Melee Support). Gain (all types) damage resistance for 1 second upon hit. %5 resistance at lvl 1, %25 at lvl 20. - Cyclone spins %20 faster when dual-wielding (additional to basic dual wield bonus). - Shock Nova does not have a dead zone anymore, it effects all enemies in range. - Frenzy mana cost lowered.

This is probably a dumb idea, since my bad map drop RNG gave me very little incentive to experience the mapping late game. All I know is that I'm tired of how map drop RNG makes leveling expensive and a pain later in the game, so how about this: a (mostly) skill-based system instead of an entirely luck-based one. I don't know how badly this would screw over the system, but it seemed like an interesting idea.
- Maps no longer drop as normal loot, except from strongboxes. Instead, map bosses always drop exactly two maps, which are equal to the level of the current map, but are of a random base type. Maps with multiple bosses still only drop two maps total, and only when the last one is defeated. The drop rate is not affected by increased item quantity, and always drops for the map's creator. - The difficulty of most map bosses has been increased substantially. So now you can sustain a map pool only if you can defeat the boss(es) at the end. If you want to go to higher level maps, you must collect enough of them to use the vendor recipe to increase the level. If you put on your full plate mail, and I throw hundreds of toothpicks at you, you'll basically not feel it. If someone catapults a whole tree at you, don't expect the Armour to prevent as much of the damage. |
