[1.3 Beyond/Bloodlines/Hardcore] "Budget" Ondar's AA Phys Wander aka. The Wandarcer
" Yes, it is effective. However, I couldn't stand playing Arc any more at lvl62, so I switched early (again) ;P At lvl71 now, and it just starts taking off - by lvl80 I should kick some ass :D Using KB as AoE for now because it's retardedly OP, but will change to PS once I aquire a suitable 5L. " What should I be linking to arc? ATM I have flame blast echo and faster cast, seems to be getting weaker towards the end up cruel.
Well, you don't have many choices with arc if you're using it with + 2 wand- spell echo, faster casting/lightning pen (I prefer faster casting)/ Empower.
Anyway if you wanna invest some currency buy a leveled Arc. It shouldn't be so expensive.
" I ended up buying a cheap +2 light wand, and stayed with arc echo fast cast. It's good enough for solo play, relatively weak in a full party. Got to level 66 today, going to start some maps tomorrow and push for 70. Will then start looking for my wander gear.
just wanted to let u know gmp chain is horrid
especially that ci spec i went from dealing tons of damage to dealing nothing because of that build ty for wasting my time and my regrets. |

Upgrading Beast Spiral to something with higher life, and Rift Grip to something with higher mana regen (for higher AA). You could get another 100 base life on boots + gloves, though your gloves are pretty sick for DPS.
With those upgrades, which is another ~150 base life, you should get closer to 4.5k life, and run AA that's a few levels higher (aim for 16+). That should be enough to grind out 75's without worry. Getting a 5 link should make up for quite a bit of lost DPS if you swap your other slots for higher survival gear. It's not cheap, but it's what I would work towards. If you have the time, just grind out lower maps until you've built up enough currency to upgrade the required slots. Just getting levels, since the FM patch, also gives quite a bit of life - every 10 levels is another 100 base life. ALT+F4, YOU FOOLS!

Hey, thanks a lot for the suggestions. I wonder if I should switch from KB to Power Siphon later.
| |
KB is incredibly strong, and there's no real need to switch if you like playing with it. I prefer the PS-GMP-Chain play style, but it only eclipses KB at gear levels similar to what is in the opening post (20ex+ in Bloodlines).
At even higher gear levels, eg. low-life shav's, KB becomes better again since you can run it with Chain and still one shot things. Since KB-GMP-Chain covers a larger area than PS-GMP-Chain ever can, once you do enough damage, it will always be better at mirror gear levels. KB-LMP/GMP-Pierce gives sustainable damage with decent gear. PS-GMP-Chain is great once you start one-shotting packs (5-10k tooltip dps) KB-GMP-Chain should eclipse everything once you hit 20k+ tooltip dps with it. ALT+F4, YOU FOOLS!

I'm in the same boat as you Atlimar, I prefer PS but I simply can't not use KB for levelling. On my 3rd try as wander in Bloodlines, this time using the CI spec "we" built.
My life-based version that was very similar to your tree reached 79. I liked it but for me, the small HP buffer was just that.. too small. Of course, once u hit lvl90 and get MoM this would change, but I'm not the most careful player in the world and so I would never reach 90 this way :P Sanity-check my tree again please?
