Actually i just use elemental pro + arc and that is all you need.

The other slot for my wand is a curse.

Is midnight bargain a good choice? 30% life reservation seems really risky...

I only recommend it when your reserved life is about the 2.5k mark.

It does increase your dps by a lot. That 30% minion damage affects MI, every minion, and also the +1 spectre, +1 zombie

If you think its too risky you can always switch your Midnights out for another weapon if that Map roll your facing is difficult

I run with a group so am usually hanging out in the back triple cursing and arc shocking. One thing that's pretty terrifying is the map roll "mobs can chain". The projectiles are bound to chain on to you sometimes.

So I was doing some theory crafting tonight since am still not satisfied with the optimal setup for minions dps. So far I got

Curse
Temporal Chain - Elemental Weakness - third curse Conductivity/Flammability (depends on spectre raised)

Zombies
Added Fire - Elemental Proliferation - Chance to Ignite

[Role: AOE burn damage, tank]

notes:

Every melee attack will ignite enemies with burn for 4/3 of that melee damage

Zombies explosion triggers ignite and ele pro which burns for 4/3 of 33% of zombie hp in an aoe
Temporal chain boosts that to 8/3 [factor in minion dmg nodes, shock charge, elemental pro, flammability] its 8/3 of explosion * all those multipliers

Skeletons
Spell Totem - Added Chaos Damage - MultiStrike

[Role: Single Target Dps, distraction]

notes:

Every Skeleton hits 3 times for 81-122 chaos, (+ wrath and anger if you have those up)

This results in quite a huge single target dps increase, enough dps to single handily run maps with just a skeleton totem

Thanks for dealing with all my build changes and tweaks, am pretty satisfied i have now found the best set up for zombies and skeles. This setup should overcome that pesky defense you have to deal with for physical damage by turning minions into elemental damage and chaos damage dealers.

im wondering if i should go to IR like krip did or get more minion nodes and go to templar tree where i have access to double totems if i wanted

Would Vulnerability be a better option if you are going to focus on burn damage?

great one i wonder what to use with skeletons and this chaos skeli seems to be it , very nice idea for faster map running . hope to check the skelis asap a chaos dmg drops again in hc.

temporal chain is a two in one. defensive and offensive. It lets you slow mobs down and makes debuffs last 2x longer. shock, freeze, burn

it actually grants you more damage (over 8 seconds)

its like comparing 50% more damage vs 40% more damage

Overall temporal chain wins out in usefulness.

Is it better to use 4L helm whit +2minions for zombies build(ignite,prolif) or 5L item whit one of this (minion life/dmg/remote) would be better?
+2 minion 4l with zombie

5l + for spectres
