Problem of this build is that most of skill gems are unavailable for Marauder.

You have to either buy them from poe.trade (that's what I did), or ask people of other classes to buy them for you.

Also, is there a level cap in this game?

Can this build farm red map/ atlas gardien, or even shaper?

Did you already thought in a version of this build using shockwave totem and avatar of fire instead of flame toten? Wouldn't do it result in a bigger (and aoe) damage?

I'm very interest in this answer also! Big fan of shockwave builds.

How are folks managing with the first suggested path in leveling? After 34 points you pretty much need a, what, 4L, or 5L item to use flame totem with?

Otherwise it will be pretty messy with ancestral bond and no ability to use any other skills.

Are people crafting their items or trading for them? 34 points would mean you are probably not even level 30 yet...

I'm trying this out and maybe I will go all the way to ancestral bond, but will wait to grab it until I have all the gems and a decent item to socket them in to.

Yes. The cap is 100, and passive skill points cap at 123, I believe. I've never hit the cap, but that is what I understand it to be.

You don't need a 4L or 5L , but if you can get one it speeds the levelling a lot. You can get a 4L for as little as 1 alt if white or 1 alch for a rare, and a 5L for 1c. Then buy the gems you cant get as class rewards and have an easy time leveling

I've been looking at vendor rewards in act 1 and 2 and it looks like the templar has quite a few gems they can purchase from yeena in Act 2. That helps, also. I think I will get some gems that way and then maybe try my luck crafting a 4 link item.

I'm only level 24 but close to ancestral bond and ilvl 25 items aren't really dropping all that much yet. So maybe I'll farm fellshrine.

If that doesn't work, then buying a 4link chest should be pretty cheap.

Enjoying the build. Would really like the Tukohama shield. Would be crazy damage.

I am lvl 78 atm, with tabula i have 11k dmg per totem (gems at lvl 18).

Is it better to get 5l mantle?

I'm following the build for a while now. But I just noticed something. I put, as described in the tutorial, the defensive setup 2: Cast When Damage Taken (lvl 4), Arctic Breath, Greater Multiple Projectiles and Chain, but I'm able to cast Arctic Breath manually, as I thought I wasn't be able to.

They are in my gloves. Are they being cast by the Cast when dmg taken as it supposed to or I did something wrong? D=
