[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Hey guys,
Just wondering if u guys focus on getting all the frenzy nodes? My damage currently is ok.. Didn't spend much on this build as I am broke need life everywhere on gear I guess :(
Any other tips you guys can give will help a lot, thanks!

Okay so ... here's my question: Why does everyone take those two minor nodes down near Thick Skin (which give 4% life each) when, for the same number of points spent, you could instead take the two minor nodes up near Revenge of the Hunted and get 4% life (each) AND 8% Evasion?

Yeah was wondering about this too, so I removed those nodes. Neversink probably went for PointBlank at some point, I guess.
Good point! Don't copy without questioning things. There is room for slight changes on the tree - depending on gear/gems/jewels.

Yes, get all the Frenzy nodes. And yeah, you want as much life as you can get. It might not be very exciting, but a dead Ranger does no damage. As I said, I'd skip the two extra 4% life nodes down near Thick Skin. Go along the top of the tree and just get the single one needed to actually reach Thick skin. (Then put those points up into the minor nodes near Revenge of the Hunted).

The Jewel node up above Blood Drinker requires an extra point to reach, it's not one you should take. What you want is the one next to Golem's Blood, down in the Duelist section of the tree (because you also want to take Golem's Blood, so it ends up being more efficient).

Not sure what else to suggest beyond that, I'm hardly one of the best people to ask (given that I like to stumble along doing SSF play).

'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'
How would this go with events/races like the upcoming ones Turmoil/Mayhem ?
Hey enjoying this build so far as its my first real one but I just have a few questions:

1)which ascendancy class should I go using tornado shot (build 1)?

2)how does immortal call work? I have it linked to cwdt, inc duration, and summon ice golem and I don't really feel/see it working if you know what I mean (my ice golem does summon so I know that works).

Thanks so much.

Which Ascendancy you chose depends a bit on you. Pathfinder is probably the strongest, but requires you to spend a lot of time managing flasks (something I don't personally trust myself to do correctly). Raider would be the second strongest and has the advantage of being pretty much entirely passive.

Immortal Call has a big kaboom when it goes off, and you should see the big "oval-on-a-stick" religious symbol over your head, also a gold flash around you.

Okay, so I'm at 82, and I'm approaching the end of my planned progression and I'm pondering what to do next. My primary attack is Ice Shot (hence the variation from the standard Neversink build). As a side note, I'm playing SSF, so my ability to radically alter my gear is limited.

What I should probably do is take the two 5% life nodes (near Bravery and Golem's Blood) and the two 4% Life/8% EV nodes (near Revenge of the Hunted).

I could take Vaal Pact, and grab that Jewel socket node beyond that. Doing those would keep me busy up to 90, and is probably further than I'll get.

However, I am tempted by some of the alternatives.

I'd love to pick up Lethality (3 or 4 points). I'd love to pick up Forces of Nature (4 points). I also sort of like Winter Spirit (2 points).

Further down on my wish list would be Deadly Draw (4 points), Heart Seeker (3 points) and Cloth and Chain (2 points).

So, I'm curious as to what people think would give me the most bang for my remaining points.

Hi there! Since it is my first bow character, I have a few questions.

1) Should I play lightning arrow or tornado shot? (following first build, looking for best clear speed, not bossing)

2) What should I replace in my gear to play with bisco? (without my current amulet my resistances are 50 fire, 65 cold, 64 lightning, gear below in spoiler)

3) Is dying sun flask big DPS boost if I'd replace wise oak or atziri's flask with it?

4) Stats, anything I could improve? (besides those resists, look at question 2)
Spoiler

Edit:
Now I have all resists capped, bought these boots

Sadly you got enchant on your boots, that'd help a ton with resists, gear looks in good shape, can bless the Two-Stone ring to 16%, i would probably replace the gloves for Gripped Glove with hp/res/aspd, or just get a few more levels and with a Jewel socket you can fit something like HP% + resists, should be pretty cheap.

As VP i tend not to run HP flasks, Dying Sun is great for damage with the extra projs, at least with Barrage, but i assume its the same with TS, i prefer LA + Barrage personally.
TS feels better only on breaches, or maybe if you have +2 TS enchant, +1 quiver etc, will be hella expensive, personal preference though.

Also it seems like you don't have anti-bleed flask, i would recommend rolling that on your Diamond Flask and then replace the life flask for Dying Sun, or roll anti-bleed on another Life Flask, and get anti-bleed on Diamond, Dying Sun will probably feel better than Wise Oak if you wanna keep the life flask.

Just bought another pair of boots, that helped a bit with resists, all capped now. I can try with buying a ring that would cap all my res without amulet that gives +15 all res. I also forgot about jewels, they will definitely help a lot with getting 5k+ like and resists with bisco equipped. Seems like I want to keep my life flask, so I will just roll anti-bleed on diamond flask and leave them for now.

Do you recommend running TS or Lightning Arrow? Because I feel like second option is faster, but maybe I'm missing some TS mechanics.

Thanks a lot for your post!
