This wouldnt work. Fire damage from flame totem it's too low to proc shock at all or it would proc it for so little time to not be even noticeable

For more DPS imo is better the three dragons. Your links would work but i personally would swap increased burning for added cold dmg

As for EE question. It wound work at all with ice spear itseld because it's procced on hit, and burning doesn not hit.. so the only target with lowered resists would be the one hitted by the spear, and not all the other burning ones.

But it can work fine with BL. The problem is: you dont need EE. With 10,4k toltip DPS i already melt most of the mobs in less than 2 seconds so it's not worth time wise to cast a BL and then an ice spear

What about Marylene's Fallacy? You dont care about none crits anyway.

60% less Critical Strike Chance and an Item without life. I play like 73 Maps and dont have a problem with my Damage if i Crit. When i have the Orbs i will try do change my Maligoro's to Voidbringer. Critting more often is way better. Maby things are different in a Groupe or somthing.

Also, Marilene has a LESS critical chance which is a straight *0,4 multiplier to your total critical chance. If you have 60% crit chance with marilene it becomes 24% which is a HUGE loss and kills the build, which is based on high crit chance

For crit more often, imo it's better to get all the doom cast cluster instead of elemental damage nodes is shadow area which would grant 100% extra critical chance. I would skip void or maligaro simply because they cut resists and life further. As i said in build OP without cloak of defiance the build is squishy! you need all the life and resists that you can grab

note also that burning status cannot be overwritten, this means that if a normal hit would burn, you must wait it to lift off before applying another burn with a critical one!

I got a similar Witch on rampage.
But i intent to not use avatar of fire, and instead use ice spear + cold to fire + gmp + power charge on crit to get charges. And because this will have less dps I intent to use spell totem (maybe by Soul Mantle) + freezing pulse/glacial cascade + cold to fire + gmp/lmp + something else.
At the moment i play with wand and shield and maybe later switch to a staff because staffs give more linked gems and with serpent stance global crit chance.

I don´t like to use avatar of fire because I like to freeze and burn enemies and the shattering is not so bad because I use Herald of Ice.

Maybe ThreeDragons could be usefull for my setup, because allthough I wont be able to use Herald of ice anymore so good but i would be able to burn and shock enemies.

By the way: I think some cold to fire build should be presented in a build of the week video, because of the many changes they done in the last patch.

Yeah I run a similar build and my second ice spear form is crit capped, theirs really a difference between 45% and 55% crit (befor extra ice spear crit). This build needs to always crit or it get tedious.

I run it with cloak of defiance, AA and 50/50 block/spellblock. When you use 3dragons you can use tempest shield+prolif to freeze enemies all the time.
