" This is relative. 108% is 5,4% for 5% cc spells and 6,48% for 6% cc spells. But with more attack speed, you have more CoC procs p/sec, then more spells could crit p/sec (so, more chances to leech p/sec). Last edited by ssebastiann#5345 on Nov 6, 2014, 2:13:53 AM

" Remember: Weapon Attack Speed is MULTIPLICATIVE. So, it's not just "13% IAS" (it is 1.5 * 1.13 * IAS) I'll tell you the truth. I used my calc tool to test and then know which would be the best wand for this build (testing spell dmg vs crit mult vs crit chance vs spell crit chance vs atk speed). Using this wand with godly gear (Tom's gear for example) you gain DPS (not much in "%", almost 5%, but more = better). Are you too poor to buy a Enhance lvl 3/4? Then you can use a Blood Magic 20%q linked with your Blood Rage. Enhance lvl3 = 16%q for Blood Rage = 16 x 0.75 = 12% IAS (on low life) - 3ex+ Enhance lvl4 = 24%q for Blood Rage = 24 x 0.75 = 18% IAS (on low life) - 45ex+ Blood Magic 20%q = 20 x 0.75 = 15% IAS (on low life) - < 1ex Or you can use both together! IMPORTANT: this +IAS is increased by "Increased Effect of Buffs on You" too. After getting a new shield I even had to ditch Vaal Discipline - and I never ever ever never use RF. I keep talking to people doing this build, and they are all like 'oh vaal this, vaal that RF there my ass here, and look at this lightning warp yo'. Ain't everyone running all the auras/CWDT-setup? (honestly tho, if it weren't for the colours on my shield I could run another gem, but would prolly be tempest shield, curse or lightning warp). Silsamazing - lvl 100 Witch

" I just learned it :P, and I haven't read it in this thread... And LOOOOOOOOOLLLL, you made me laugh. All of us have the same problem. I used to have my Blue socket... where I used to put Tempest Shield (or Righteous Fire for bosses, or Purity of Elements when needed, ex: map with ele weakness). Then Herald of Thunder appeared, goodbye Tempest Shield, goodbye Lightning Warp. Then, Blood Magic + Enhance + Blood Rage, homeless RF. I used to run my shield with GGG for Enhance, Blood Rage and Herald of Ice. Had enough life to not run it with reduced.
Then some flippin real nice friend of mine, cursed be his name, borrowed me a even better shield, a mirrored one. Colors? RRB, like dafuk. I'm not even running enhance on my bloodrage any longer, I'm using empower cus it's socketed with Discipline. On a sidenote I'm still using Purity of Elements tho, so there's another slot. I have it on all the time in case of ele weakness cursing necros followed by ele reflect. Still have 214 unreserved life. Oh btw, Discovery Channel is gonna feature me in a episode of 'I Should'nt be alive'. I ran a Palace map yday, just me and another dude. I see a pretty big ele reflect mob on the other side of the door. I'm semi speed-running the map to check the speed of this new guy I'm mapping with - BOOM TAKE A FLASK BUG IN THE FACE. You know, when you press your flask and the flask is like 'nah mate, not today'. Blew a whole load, killed the pack and survived with like 500 ES. God damnit I was so scared. So, trying out a "budget" version of this build. I cannot afford the gear specified in the requirements and have been playing with killmours life build instead, but since I managed to get a shavs and could 6L it, I thought giving this build a shot instead just to see how it works out with "normal" gear.
No imba-gloves, no shavs ring, just a poor own crafted wand with bad mods and a normal ES-shield. However got the strides as boots, doryani belt and the vortex, where Im playing around with different auras to see which benefits most from +1 level. Currently level 87 and first thought so far; - it IS possible to play with normal budget ES-items + a 6L shavs. The amount of auras gives a good boost. However I'd say mid/high end maps only, deffo not uber atziri. - I dont know how or why, but reflect isnt oneshotting me if I forget popping a flask? Think is that I dont pop flasks at all face2face with ele reflect? Might be coz Im running pur of light + pur of ice + pur of elements together. Fantastic to be able to lazy play when doing maps :D - At this stage thanks to discipline aura I've got 6k ES and when popping vaal discipline I get over 10k (wtf?). Might linking vaal discipline to inc duration as in my previous build. - playing around with different gems, I find that arc+artic breath are what people seem to whine most about when trying to join a public party. "Noooo coc!!!" takes like 10 seconds to see in the chat. However, doing fireball+icespear or even freeze pulse doesnt seem to bother others that much (or I have been lucky enough to get into parties allowing coc builds). - oos macro is a must, need to spam that key since I really get desynced all time - using assasins mark is really awesome except for one thing; the bloody sound! If sounds like someone is torturing a cat and constantly hearing that sound makes me go bananas - only have one REAL issue though and its kind of serious; my critchance on barrage is way to low and unrealiable. It normally takes 4-6 casts before I get the first crit and starts collecting PC's. I have had real struggle on a few map bosses not getting a single crit and just running around trying to poke the boss in the eye with my wand and was even chased by an angry mob in docks without getting a single crit for 30 secs (the mob had plenty of time to gather their family, cousins etc). Overall the build is really fun to play. Hat off. |

" Good stuff on trying to figure out the build on your own budget. Work your way up there! If you post your gear and stats it would be easier to help. How high is your crit chance, crit multi, a.speed and accuracy etc. Sound to me you are missing out on some of all. If you are running solo elemental reflect is easier to deal with, mob HP isn't as high. Might also have a connection with the amount of damage you do. The most important thing to work on would be crit - your level isn't as high yet, but try to rearrange your tree if you are missing out on easy accesible nodes. Especially those who gives global crit (work for spells as well), and the accuracy/crit nodes. I'd love to be more specific, but for that I'll need your gear and tree + some numbers on stats :) Silsamazing - lvl 100 Witch
