[1.2.4] SHATTER CHUCK - 3 MILLION SUSTAINABLE DPS (6.7 \W SHOCK & CURSE) - EASY UBER ATZIRI

ok, so i got some passives mechanic questions for our attacks & spells.
looking at the Apocalypse Thirst i wandered which of its dps mods would u rank as more important?

1. spell dmg- an important one, but diminishes when eventually being out-shined by crits.
2. inc. critical strike chance for spells- how bad do we need it when our attacks are the ones that procs the spells as it is (does that mod only increase the chance of spells to crit when proced, which its base is 5%-6%?) or do procced spells critting generate more procs of themselves? :P
3. inc. critical strike chance- the local crit factor, which is the most paramount mod that entirely defines our base crit chance.
4. inc. global multiplier- an important mod as well, though its benefit can be achieved with solely by the 3 nodes of Throatseeker.

plz share your opinions & correct any of my assumptions if you're sure of it (reference would be nice).
tnx in advance!

Rank:
1) Local Critical Strike Chance +% (more procs = +dps, highest one needed to try to reach the 95% cap without using Rat's nest)
2) Spell Damage (+++dps)
3) Crit Mult (++dps)
4) Attack Speed (more procs = +dps, remember this is multiplicative)

Attack Speed > Crit Chance for Spells. Thats why I would like the Ventor "Carrion Call Imbued Wand" without the "Adds 33-62 Cold Damage" and add it "1% of Cold Damage Leeched as Life".

I failed uber atziri with my budget setup, she being at around 40% or so hp after two phases were done.

What I noticed is that the leech was not enough to fill up my 7k ES pool quickly. In Tom's video, you can see that via the acuity gloves, he leeches back to full quickly both during the trio and the atziri fights.

Then I thought I'd try vaal pact but with 3% leech, 2% from weapons and 1% from doryani belt. During testing though, I figured out that 2% leech was WORKING with vaal pact.

So guys, you don't need to color your shavs GGGRBB for the vaal pact version it seems, because 0.8 doesn't get rounded down to 0% like some claimed during several pages of this post. After testing stuff out, I'll be trying atziri again and will keep you informed.

Using 2 of these
when facing Uber is also a big boost to survivability, just swap out cold flask a few rooms before the last staircase.

I have a 6L Shavronne's and I'm looking into trying either this build or Rainbownuke. I can afford two Void Batteries, or the three pieces of gear needed for Rainbownuke (both end up being about 70-80ex).

If I can't afford Acuity and need to run Vaal Pact + Life Leech, how would the two builds compare?

Shatter Chuck Master Race.
Anyways - you aint done with 2 Void batteries or the three pieces for nuke. There's gems, headgear, shield, jewellry etc. Always remember that.

Shatter Chuck offer's you more. I never played Rainbownuke, but most people I know who played it switched to Shatter Chuck so.
Also, parties won't hate you.

I was actually wondering about this aspect as well because I have a Shadow that's dual wand barrage CoC build, and it definitely causes a frame rate hit once the fireballs and arctic breaths start flying. I have a beefy enough GPU that I don't bother unslotting the MTX effect from my fireball, but I wouldn't use the build in a group because I'm sure someone will complain.

I might trying swapping it to arctic breath + arc to test whether it's noticeably less laggy.
arc lags way less, but it's not as good as the other spells you could use in it's place. The reason I stopped playing this character was because of the lag. Unless you have a really good computer, it's just not enjoyable to play.
Hi,

I've got some questions for you Tom :)

First :
You said "they also provide an outrageous 330% increased Spell Damage when having 9 Power Charges" when you talk about the 2 void battery.
I don't understand because
2 * 20% (implicit mod) + 9 * 25% (power charges) - 2 * 80% (malus) = +105% increased spell damage

Did I forget something ?

Second :

Could you tell me why the damage per use between double void battery and those wand/shield is so different ?

Arc 2 void battery :
Spoiler

Arc wand+shield :
Spoiler

Ice Spear 2 void battery :
Spoiler

Ice Spear wand+shield :
Spoiler

Thanks for your time.

Oh you have to count it twice ?! I see...

That means the 2 void battery get 150% increased spell damages more than my wand/shield (and the 2 extra charges).
And I guess this is why there is such a huge difference in damage per use...

Thanks.
New 100% PERFECT (IMO BiS) wand crafted by Ventor for this build.

Thx Ventor!
