Update about Synthesis League Changes

Since the release of Synthesis almost two weeks ago, we have been given plenty of feedback about what players are liking and not liking during their playthrough of the league. This has not only prompted many patches that are already deployed, but also a lot of internal discussion that has resulted in a pretty large-scale set of changes that we intend to deploy next week. While these changes are still being tested, we wanted to give you an update of the direction we're going with the league.

Gateway Selection Feature for Path of Exile on Consoles

We're proud to announce that in cooperation with Kakao Games, we will be bringing Path of Exile to Korea later this year. We're working with Kakao Games to make the Korean version a new gateway of the existing main Path of Exile realm.

The Glimmerwood Mystery Box

We've just introduced the Glimmerwood Mystery Box which introduces 38 new microtransactions from the woodland realm, each imbued with a curious kind of magic. Each Mystery Box costs 30 points and guarantees one microtransaction with value equal to or greater than that of the box. PSA: Watcher's Eye Change in Upcoming Patch

Tomorrow (Friday NZT), we're planning to release Patch 3.6.1 which includes a change to the "30% increased Maximum total Recovery per second from Energy Shield Leech while affected by Zealotry" modifier found on the Watcher's Eye Unique Jewel. This modifier unintentionally went out with a value six times higher than intended which is making it much more powerful than intended. We try to avoid nerfs mid-league but we feel the power of this item warrants an emergency change. We are extremely sorry to anyone that this has negatively affected. Celestial Aura Effect and Celestial Soulrend

We've just released two new microtransactions, designed in a community-favourite theme: the Celestial Aura Effect and Celestial Soulrend! The Celestial Aura Effect changes the standard effect of aura gem to a cosmic one with moving particles. The Shaped Hideout
