3) You play WAY too little, in which case you should:
-find a game which offers better returns with low time investment
-play with 4L, if you play THAT little, you don't need and you're not supposed to need a 5L

good job ggg, i feel the prices are very reasonable. a 6L is NOT mandatory, it's a luxury. a 5L on the other hand is mandatory for end game. 150 fuses seems like a lot, but it's really not that difficult to accumulate. it's all about saving/converting those alts --> jews --> fuses.

for those complaining about not having the time to accumulate currency, do you just want everything handed to you? is that how it works in real life as well? if you want to excel at a sport or a field of study, but you don't put in the time. what do you do? rub your magic genie bottle? make a wish? please let me know where i can get one of those...

its nnot about 5link our of reach for any1... but fixed price, and the fact that u can accualy get 5l w/o using orb which were supposed to link is just stupid, no1 will 5link shitty items with this formula so regular 5links will be cheap like they were... while better items with links wll tend to go around this 150 fusing price.

All the prices are supposed to be slightly higher than the average it would take to the them the manual way.

Hmm. I like the option to link sockets but I don't know if I'm going to use the chroming options that much. You can decide if you want same-colour sockets but what about putting different colours into it? Far more important imo, and it will be left to RNG.

Look at the item being crafted....it's Shavronne's Wrappings. 3 Reds for 245 is super generous.

Not just because it's Shav's but because it's a blue chest. It's hard to roll many red sockets on blue gear because they're totally off-colour, in the same way it's a little less harder to roll red sockets on DEX/STR gears because they're "semi-off-colour" (I really hope they are taking these details into account). Still, I think 285 is too high of a price... but, I don't know, it has been a long time since I've been online in game.

Chris said it himself, the prices are set so that *on average*, new crafting is *more* expensive than traditional orb-using. Why is it broken for people to want to save up to bypass RNG? The richest players will still use the orbs the normal way because they can afford to get hit by bad RNG every so often, but imagine a player trying desperately to 6L something because they had a particular skill combo in mind. If you could consume all of your accumulated wealth--up to months for a low- to average-player--trying to randomly 6L an item, and could still fail, it would be a huge demotivator to even keep playing. Now poorer players have a "safe" way to collect and use currency, but *on average*, the game is not easier for them, it's actually harder. *On average*, they need more orbs to 6L an item. They just have a definite way of doing it now, that won't get them feeling super-dejected about losing all their wealth for no results.

I don't understand anyone trying to argue that prices are *too high*. Prices that are *too low* mean that the game will be infested by more awful self-entitled casuals, but if you think a price is *too high*, just use the orbs like you were doing before! Guess what: Chromatic orbs aren't going to stop working when the patch goes live. If you want to 3R a Shavronne's with fewer than 285 chromatic orbs, just use the orbs normally! That's what all the rich players will be doing anyway....
