Thats true but 5L ( and It's quite cheap ) Is almost everything you need to be very effiecient with your build and farm your ass off till you afford a 6L.

Are you kidding? 5L is 2.5ex. I got that much currency during the 1-month league.

Look at my account. Look at it. I am fucking new to this game. I played the last week of Ambush on a character that didn't finish Normal mode. Other than that, I only played the 1-month league.

And no, I didn't find random lucky uniques to get me that much currency, and I'm not even capable of distinguishing good rares yet. In fact, my 1-month league shop in the forums flopped, didn't sell one thing. I traded for Chaos with alts, jewellers, and fuses I found (and I found a few chaos myself). Then I traded those Chaos for exalts, and got myself a Rise of the Phoenix and some lower stuff (like Searing Touch for leveling).

If you can't raise enough money to 5L an item that means a lot to your build, consider that maybe you just aren't cut-out for ARPGs. You aren't meant to have a fucking army of 5Ls. You can only have up to 3 per character in a single build (armor, weapon, and switch-weapon), and most characters only need 1. It's going to be fucking easy to 5L, in the grand scheme of things.

This option is meant to bypass RNG for players that don't want to be unlucky, not to enable the full-of-themselves self-entitled casuals from D3 to get whatever they want. It will take me forever and a half to ever 6-link a worthwhile item (I will probably just not bother saving that much), but I think these prices are perfectly fair.

If you can't afford a 5L or 6L now, nothing is going to change with the new crafting options--and I think GGG is ok with that.
