Am I just being silly???? - how do you put 1500 fusing in your inventory???

Like the current vendors, it can take it out of your stash.

As a side note, in the past this has lead to players thinking that they're buying the stuff for free.

Please increase the cost for 5-links or improve Fusing-Orbs themselves.
I don't like the fact that orbs will have no real own use anymore.
People should decide if they try it the old way with the chance of saving cost or the new way with fixed cost.
Currently, the first option just seem not to be worth it.

Uhm, maybe you should design your own game. Then you can change everything to exactly as you want it.

You missed the point, I think.

150 fuses for a 5L.
That's 600 jews at vendor.
That's 1200 alts.

On a good average, identified blue items yield 4 shards.
That's almost 5000 items you have to loot,
identify, vendor, and upgrade those orbs from alts to jews to fusings.

Have fun in the new "self found" league.
That's a pretty brutal demand for a simple 5L, which doesn't turn anyone into proGodMode.
How about you lower that 5L cost to something a LITTLE BIT more reasonable, like 40 fuses?

How many 5links did you craft with less than 40 fusings? What would be the point in using the traditional fuse way then?

6L should be hard to get, the end game mod. Not 5L.

Making a 5L too hard to obtain is nothing more than admitting the game is broken and shallow.
5L doesn't make you immortal, it only makes you a little bit offensive or defensive.
It's not a "infinite ammo/life/immortality autowin item". It's a simple 5L item.
Even a 6L isn't doesn't do that.

So, if you design a game around the fact that obtaining a 5-6L is the hardest and rarest achievement, equal to winning, then you have no actual fucking GAME! You have a LOTTERY.
And that's not what a ARPG should be. RNG should be a part of it, but not the center of it!

"Well I guess he has the most dpd, maximum support gems linked in 6 sockets.
Nothing more to see or do here" --- *flies away* ---
Is that anyones idea of a good, deep game?? I hope not.

As I suggested in other posts, Linked gear should be far more common, and have a level req.
lvl 1-9 0L, 10-19 2L, 20-29 3L, 30-39 4L, 40-49 5L and lvl 50-100 6L.
Progressive learning curve and resource management, also giving you something to look forward and motivate players to hit that next tier lvl to unlock more linked sockets.

The game should focus on working out complex and rewarding freestyle combos, more different build with a greater variation and cross over designs. Redesign gems, skills, the passive tree... but instead of working on those things, the most interesting aspects this game has to offer, we are all forced to focus on *winning the lottery by crafting the big one*.

6L has almost reached a unquestionable status of a semi god that everyone blindly worships and desires without really even knowing what for. I don't care about anyones opinions, because the truth is, this is not a good design for a ARPG game, it's a good design for a Lottery. And if that's what you want, you shouldn't be here but at a gas station buying those tickets.

As before. Well said.
Is it just me or is this community getting more toxic the minute we speak?
Seriously. It's at this point where I compare a few people here with the LoL community

i don't think you've completely read the patch notes... you see crafting and rage

read on... find out they are reworking parts of the passive tree... find out they are working on balancing gems... find out they are reworking in the core of the game to fix snapshotting (this is a big big big change programming wise)... find out they are bringing in new quests (the masters you bitch about, they give quests)...

and 6l items are useless, your spells become so expensive it's most of the time not even worth it

I always feel pity for those kind of person. Instead of trying and finding a way to accummulate wealths, they just force GGG to lower the standard

For Christ's sake, who the hell still farm alt by vendoring blue item? What a pathetic way to gain currency!

Thread called "black market currency traders and kids with dad's credit card versus normal players that just want to enjoy the game without pain"
wasn't this screenshot already leaked here? >>> http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/987505/page/1

Can't say I disagree with this. Stems a lot from a prevailing sense of entitlement, which I think is part of the reason this crafting bench is being introduced in the first place. Read: to alleviate some of the pressure new players feel compared to experienced players who know how to efficiently grind up currency and not only what it takes to craft properly, but who have the patience and knowledge to choose when to do so.

Instead, I think it's just exacerbated the issue. Which is unfortunate.
