Screenshot of Forsaken Masters Socket Crafting

This is an option, NOBODY IS FORCING PLAYERS TO USE THIS NEW CRAFT SYSTEM.

If you think is too much then use then NORMAL craft system, they implement this to give options to all players not to force everybody and make the game even more easy.

I enjoy the game even if I dont have 12 hours per day to play this game Im pretty ok with 5 link and I think people doesnt understand the meaning of END GAME GEAR.

Chrome recipe is ludicrous. The cost of changing socket colour which is a REQUIREMENT for builds needs to be much lower.

Go ahead and say 'well then you shouldn't be using gear that requires hard to get colour combinations'. To that I say: Fuck off. Why would you want to be pigeon-holed into a certain character build purely because GGG says you shouldn't be able to have x colour gems in x armour piece. Why would you want to limit build choice of which is currently already fairly limited due to GGG nerfing anything remotely useful into a oblivion due to the 1% of characters who can afford gear to make the build OP.
I don't think most people would even use the recipe, this is a problem that most people don't really run into and the builds that do run into it are typically ones that are supposed to be expensive anyways. Once you start on this line of argument that you are heading on you can then say why even bother having different coloured sockets in the game? why even have links? why not just pick our skills/support from a menu like d3? Socket colours and their interaction with attributes is a really well thought out system imo and an important part of the game.

And I would say that arguing that build options are limited is just plain bullshit and shows that you are one of these glass half empty forum dwellers. There are more builds now than ever before.

BL needs a 6L for a comfortable play, who says otherwise is liying through his teeth. Any more arguments? Other than, "only if you spend all your time here like me you can use the game's features" korean style thinking?

Who is forcing you to waste 1500 fusings? GGG?
Nobody is forcing you to waste that much, if you think is a waste of fusing you can save 100 fusing or 500 fusing and TEST YOUR LUCK , thats all.

you joined less than a month ago.. play this fruitless game for a year and then talk. right now you a) are on a smurf account b) enjoy the benefits gained trough 'other means' if you think that current situation is 'ok'

1500 fusings is MONTHS of grind (of few days of trade [Removed by Support]). keeping this prices ggg pushes players in the the most 'efficient' ways of obtaining things

Like the new potion slots. Maybe it's just the smaller potion types, but I like seeing space on the sides. If it is just because the smaller potions maybe add a couple pixels width to each slot?

The UI is awesome, but I think a color swap option may be nice. The gold seemed to fit the game so well, but the new color is easier on the eyes.

New crafting system seems interesting, can't wait to see other areas.
Good grief, don't you dare make those prices lower GGG (Just looking at all the posts here). If anything increase them a little. It's great to have an outright buy option, but there still needs to be a fair amount of room for the market to move.

Seems like this is the perfect opportunity for a lot of casual players to jump in and berate (imo) the generous buyouts that you currently have. If you sell the majority of what you find as you level there shouldn't be any reason why people can't afford those buyouts. If you're not willing to put in the extra effort why should you receive the extra reward?

White 6l go for like 5-6ex, so to be able to 6l anything you desire is a huge ability. 6l certainly shouldn't be in everyones reach. I've been lucky once and 6l'd a plate as it dropped a 6soc and did it in one fusing before a possible vendor sell and I didn't even use it, the currency was worth more to me.

Arrgh I don't want to type anymore, just too many silly posts here. I like PoE because it challenges me and makes me stretch for the what if? Seems like too many games these days bend to the will of the largest audience possible.

In manifesto they say that the masters have a slighlty better ratio than actual vendors. So to 6L a gear it's less than 1500 fusings compared with actual 1500 fusing (if you use vendor receipe for creating the fuse)

LOL? you bring up one skill that supposedly needs a 6l for comfortable play as your checkmate argument? Well assuming that is even true the problem could be that BL itself is a shitty skill that needs to be tweaked.

Its not just Korean style mmo's, but any successful mmo that relies on a system where there is always some top tier of item for every category that takes insane grinding to obtain, thus having a carrot to chase for every type of player, both casual and no-lifers.

Of course there is always the modern day entitled gamers that feel entitled to everything that exists in the game and complains about such systems. I think GGG has learned by now that such people will always bitch, regardless of what they do.
I dont usually say this but this is awesomesauce. 5-linking and chromes was just about the only thing this game needed (almost), and at decent enough prices.

Funny thing, i pretty much knew it would be 150. I 5-link at around 100 fuses or less. Have linked around 10 items in my days.

11/10 Good job!
