Path of Exile: Forsaken Masters

Looks great and excited about new content. Hoping there is going to be a change to trading as well, also some confusion in what the new craft benches will offer. Everyone seems all excited but the way I'm reading it the benches just seem to supplement crafting and not replace or even make it any easier... it says you can only use one mod at a time"light blue"... idk anyone else reading it this way?

Anyways, really glad to see improvements. If trade changes aren't coming anyone have any idea when they will?
How is this respec "optional"? It looks like pretty much ANY witch will be forced to respec regardless and that's just from what I can see. Sounds like shadows and possibly rangers will be in the same boat. Last time I checked, forced is pretty much the opposite of optional. Just sayin'

Will we have some time between the expansion coming out and the leagues getting started? I would love some time to tinker with the new Passives Tree before the new leagues dropped.

I'm extremely excited for the new changes, but I really want to see work done on clipping and being out of sync in game. It's annoying to die because you are stuck on a wall that was 30 secs behind you.

First off I want to apologize for sounding so negative in what I am about to say. Not trying to be a downer but these are the concerns that came to mind from reading your response.

Doesn't "We haven't included the dangerously high tiers of mods." mean no t1 and t2 mods? This would mean crafting is roughly about as useful as farming cruel Dominus but with less RNG. In other words crafting becomes obsolete before you even get near "endgame"?

What role is crafting meant to fill?

Easier to obtain leveling gear is great for that first character you create in a league but often times you pick up enough leveling uniques that you can just plow through normal and most or all of cruel when creating alts simply because they provide so much power for their level. If crafting stops at cruel Dominus then it seems like you would be better off rushing to merciless ledge.

Trying to figure out of this is something worth being excited about. Currently it seems like no.


There are many different Tier 1 mods. Chris could be referring to those different Tier 1 mods. If not I still think this will be very useful. If I have some great boots but no mvmt speed, I can at least get some speed on them (15-20 is better than nothing). Or a nice chest with 2 resists and health, I can get another resist, even tho it may not be +45 resist 30 resist is extremely useful.
