I'll make this very simple people don't like change because of something that they've been staring for a very very long time. You take that away and of course their going to riot in short.

If it's not broken of any way shape of form don't bother fixing it if there was nothing wrong with it why bother touching it?

Now if you truly do think you want to change things give an option to swap menu ''design's'' and make everyone happy

Which leaves me two alternatives.

Follower or.....excort quest.

Better,but i still think that shop sign it's immersion breaking sry:( i don't see what is wrong with the current dollar sign,it's so well integrated u guys and so elegant into the UI:)
Pibadi posted a nice example on the old one or even better u guys could use the currency sign from the lore i'm sure everybody recognizes that if is so bad that u guys want to change it..
As for the menu pointing a big arrow is like this game is for children under the age of 10 and.. sry it's lore,immersion breaking as well for me..
I love the game but sometimes visual perception of how u see things matters a lot.Don't know if i put it right so i can make myself understood,but my point stays!

This. The color scheme change is as useless and disrupting as the rest of the changes. It's not like the UI was dominant in the first place. A reduction of buttons available was simply not necessary. If there really is a need for a new button, one could have merged the Quest Window with the Achievement/Challenges window to make space.

I agree with others, the shop button looks way cheaper than the $ button.

there you can buy a lot of different UIs to customize the game some more...

for me:

now your planed up coming design is completely broken...

you became a kind of "panik attack" (you called it user interaction) and mixed up the old with the new one... and bammmm

the design you wanted at first, is completely gone, because some dudes dont want to trust you wif your design decision...

bad way, really bad way...

do your first presented design and give the rest as MTX

and finally the old gui was iconic, the chained ladys are still a remember sign, even if you just have a oneshot look at..

if you change them you will break dis, too

and instead of the word "SHOP" you can use the "coin symbol" ( https://www.pathofexile.com/purchase ) from the points :)

I like the hp/mana pots, they look better.

The shop button change is understandable, although moving to below the giant menu button is maybe a better idea.

I don't really like the menu button. Just so people can get used to shortcuts? I don't know... it seems unnecessary to me, a tooltip works fine. To be fair probably the only button I ever use is the inventory one and that's normally because I'm currently in chat and can't press 'I' so I doubt I'll miss it. I'll probably get used to it over time, since it won't make me stop playing.

Honestly though, I think having that menu button breaks immersion a lot more than you say the '$' did. A LOT more.

Also the ladies need to stay. They stay or you make then better, they cover very little of the globes already :P

I don't mind the button rearrangements that much, but I do worry about the larger segment of the feedback and the methods employed to collect and analyze it if it's resulted in, or is eventually going to result in, the upending of solidly established artistic elements, like the orb statues. Because the fraction definitely didn't have much to do with this.

I wish you were joking. The original statues don't cover a noticeable portion of the orbs *at all*. I've put several thousand hours into this game and they are invisible to me (always have been), having no gameplay effect whatsoever. Call a spade a spade please! Just switch it to one large chained male and maintain one large chained female, and put this non-issue to bed already. Jaysus.

edit - I was advised:

it`s not caused by channels - if you mean trade and global chat. I mean that chat window pops-up "onMouseOver" these small arrows, so when my mouse cursor goes around the small arrows on the left, and that`s always making me crazy when trying e.g. run away that direction, it pops-up and I click into chat windows, not running anywhere (from combat for example, and as I stay in place got hit / killed). This chat pops always when I mouse cursor moves around these small arrows, does not matter if playing alone or in party, if trade / global chat is on or off (I play with both trade and global chats off almost all the time btw.)
