Okay, better... I still don't see why the orb figures need to change. They fit the tone, and I think are aesthetically well done.
Can you please do something like that?

Roman/Greek stylings have been done to death already... a cool factor about POE was it's fresh look and feel, but it looks like that is changing. I'm not liking the sound of this "new" art direction, but will reserve further judgement/comment for now.

The above is simply one opinion and I appreciate all the hard work that goes into such decisions. :)

Cheers

Have you paid attention to Sarn with its colloseum?
They game always screamed roman art.

Have you paid attention to history class? Colosseums are not a roman invention, but rather a greek thing. And its called amphitheatre. There is only 1 colosseum in the world, and it would be the Flavian Amphitheatre.

Technicallities.

How do you explain then all the roman-like names like Gravicius, Chitus, Perandus, etc. in the game.

The art screams roman, you like it or not. The game was inspired by Titan Quest too.

I like this version a lot more. If the "$" is lore-breaking then how about using the art and symbol you guys have for the shop points.

I have to agree this would work so much better than "shop"
It will convert your forum titles into decorative square badges that use the space next to your forum posts more economically so that you can show off an unlimited number of them at any one time. - GGG, 2018 (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3573673)

I had noticed it about Sarn in a few places (the Malachai statue in the foyer/lobby of SoG is rather uninpsiring), but I had hoped it was a once-off and hadn't felt the need to comment.

The thing is POE has this one opportunity to set their own style and their own mythology for Wraeclast. It would be sad to see it wasted with copy-n-paste stylings resulting in another Titan Quest or heaven's forgive throwing in some kung-fu pandas (to make it easier and drive sales). ;)

Again, just an opinion based on what I know thus far. GGG have their reasons and goals, so I'm happy to wait and see. GGG have kudos in the bank, so I still trust in them.

Lastly why is nobody talking about the dude standing in the picture did I miss something is it just common knowledge whey this dude is in 2 places at once and it seems completely random in this picture. Is he a hired mercenary oh please yes

It really took TEN PAGES for anyone to even begin discussing the fact we've got a potential NPC mercenary?

Again, it could as well be ancient greek, as latin was derived from ancient greek. So the words have the same roots, and similarities. You really did not pay attention during history class did you?

Dominus (everyone knows him here), means owner or master in latin, it comes from domus wich means house in latin or the ancient greek variant domos, both come from the same root again. You really should have listened in history class, i mena you think roman-like actually means something. Horrible.
