yep, it increases aura effect and also everything that is counted as a buff including bloodrage, RF and all that, im assuming it also increases flask effect since its a general increase to buff effects

I had a mean RF Arc witch in ambush, all + level gems and what not.. She was ridiculously tanky, 96 fire ress, 88 lightning, lvl 23 AA, 25k dps.. But I still don't know if she would have been able to kill ubers.. Granted, with the nerf to ele resist (no more ele adaptation), killing uber is going to be A LOT harder..

Before the nerf, you could get 108 fire and 100 light with flasks using rise so you were immune, coupled with lightning coil on 100 light the spears did very little damage and it was fairly doable.

Yeah, I was using a coil as well.. Pretty powerful with 88% lightning ress before flasks.. I'd love to see an arcer kill uber..

I just tested and I got only +10 from a ruby flask (no flask effect nodes, just inner force).
That's sad.

But anyway, my train of thought is this:
level 23 purities with at least 20% effect on tree = +6
flask effect nodes for +13
legacy saffel for +5

That brings us to 99%
The remaining 1 percent could be one of the following:
+1 max amulet
+1 fire/+1 light from skill tree
another +20% aura effect for +1

Well inner force must be bugged then, i dont remember any mention of it not working with flasks anymore O_o

Its still doable though with both alphas and even normal saffels as long as oyu get enough aura buff effect from tree, you can easily get 8% max from level 23 purity in alphas thats 83%, with saffels youre at 87% and at 100% with flasks and their nodes.

Or alternatively get less buff effect nodes and pick up the +1 max rez nodes as you said

Well Mark does say flask effects are separate in there so you probably misread it.

Either way we do have a couple of options available which is good. Alpha's with level 20 gems and level 2 empower is probably the cheapest option.

Edit: Actually since chroming Alpha's is a pain in the ass, I suppose Geofri's Crest with level 2 empower is cheaper.

Well, losing the Vertex would be a pretty big DPS loss, the 6l DPS ain't as good or easy but should be kinda manageable - if you want to see a video, check my 1.1 section.

I was fairly sure that it should still be manageable after the nerf, I just haven't seen any indication from the build creator or users that it still is.

Oh shit, I forgot foxtactic killed uber with that arc build! Man, the dps is pretty slow tho (cant believe he killed the mirrors that quick, I guess the chaining helps a lot).. And I really feel that the removal of ele adapt is going to make this fight much, much harder for an arcer..

Just got her down with my Fakener spec which is... kinda melee? Kinda budget? (20-30ex, mostly the 6L voll)
