Let me answer your question; Hardcore means that it is unforgiving. Should you make the mistake to misinterpret the situation and get punished, there is no turning back. That is what hardcore means, none of your butthurt "alt-f4 league" business. It is the thrill of that possible outcome that makes hardcore worth playing for me.

But wait there is more! The whole point of these complaints are not to belittle softcore players, or take away their league. It is to make GGG make a seperate hardcore league. You can still have your league and your mods, we just want a similar option, because some of us does not enjoy the game without that thrill.

You must of misinterpreted me, I am asking for/suggesting that there be one standard league, and one HC league both with the exact same mods. Everyone would be satisfied, no?

And in so doing we get a delay on the 4 month leagues. No thanks. I take 1 SC league over a SC and HC league anyday if it speeds up the work on the 4 month leagues.

I am not sure how much development time it would take to make an exact clone of the SC league to make a HC version, but I imagine GGG has the resources to make such a delay non-existant to minimal (hours?).

I hope you realize that if you do get your way and get an extra hardcore league just because you can't cope with different rulesets it would pretty much mean every event in the future would have to be dual league after all the softcore playerbase is much larger and it would be pr nightmare to snub them after the precedent was set. Right now people accept that most races and most special events are HC because that's how it is. I can guarantee it won't be the case after. Then you will all bitch how the sc leagues are so much easier and the prizes are so much easier to get. It's hard being a special snowflake isn't it?

Wow no hardcore? I had high hopes for a 1 month. Taking all the old crap and mashing it together is extremely lazy and un-creative.

To me the game has no appeal in normal mode. Wont be playing.

I don't believe I am bitching, I am just dissapointed and voicing that dissapointment.

GGG has the resources to take on a different server, given that there have been almost no server side strain with bandwidth since official launch and this would make... 4 leagues, again, the way it has been for the last year.

In regards to being a special snowflake, yeah okay, I am with the minority in hardcore but that does not mean I am special, better, more elite or whatever else, than a standard league player. I would hope that the majority that prefers standard would have the the same feeling about us.

Just make a HC 1 month. No need for rewards or anything, but damn man, dont leave us hanging GGG.
