i have a lot of friends that didnt played the ambush/invasion league because they dont play hc but i didnt saw them complaining that much like you are doing.

i play both leagues so im ok with it but for once you could just have fun in a softcore league or wait 1 mounth and play other games.

Really surprised that they didn't come up with anything new, but instead are just reusing old mods from previous leagues.. I'll check it out, but Idk for how long.

Also, you would think that after everyone leaving invasion and either coming to ambush or taking a break from PoE because of the OP invasion bosses and a declining playerbase, that they would at least have a hardcore version.

Oh well, hopefully the 4 month won't disappoint.

It's so damn simple: Create both Leagues, problem solved. Same and reused mods are ok for me. GOGO GGG.

Kinda new to the game and have not tried a fresh league yet...

I'm gonna try and go straight to my points...

First of all, I support the players complaining about non-HC event.
I myself play only HC leagues, and to those people stating: "You can just delete your character every time you die."... So who are you trying to back up? Think of it, this community doesn't only have SC lovers/addicts, but also HC lovers. Then at first people say this is an event to develop new builds? Theorycraft? And what if some of us prefer to do so in a hardcore environment? Not just to test how many millions of DPS you can reach, but survival-wise (Yes you can argue with that, whatever), etc...
And second, why would you strictly put yourself in a disadvantage compared to other players who are just used to the SC standards of just being able to re-spawn your character whenever you die? That's nonsense, why would you do that?

This thread is full of SC vs. HC who has the bigger e-d*ck... I think there were enough complaints on the races of Season 8, Endless Ledge... Which gets difficult but is more focused for SC players who apparently like the infinite grinding/farm.

And well, finally, I really think it's not such a big deal for GGG, knowing them since Open Beta, to create a parallel HC version of this 1 month league, only time will tell.

Death in SC is not the same as in HC, even if you play "Hardcore SC". You just don't get the adrenaline rush and shaky hands.

I would prefer the option to choose a char to qualify for the prizes.

If I feel like creating multiple characters I get disqualified.... kinda meh.. i'll have to delete all cept for 1 char.
