I do not recall any SC one month event - like ever before. I was about to rejoice that finally I am going to enjoy this one and guess what, this topic is full of whine.

Plus, this is a brand new format, maybe a dawn of new possibilities - league settings switching on the fly. Imagine, chaos league, where every day the rules change randomly. I do not understand why it offends you so much that this experiment is softcore.

Yeah, so you are going to take a month break for once. Are we really such a whiner community?

I really looked forward to this one month, but not anymore. Playing softcore just takes away the fun of the game for me, and there's no way I'm going to play this. See you in August, really bad decision to make GGG.

I hope the SC players have fun though. Congratulations to the winners.

Stop ruining Standard. Stop holding back features like Strongboxes for 5 months, and don't nerf these features on Standard. These features make playing on Standard just not worth it. Give prices to people who only play non-race leagues too. (Also implement an AH.)

Those people weren't going to play anyway, considering the last 2/3 of Invasion were perfectly well balanced.

According to ppl on my friendslist, comments here and comments on reddit a LOT of ppl just came back to the game for the 1 month. They want to enjoy a good new refreshing HC environment. Now they have to wait for another 5 weeks.

Edit and for the people that are SOOOO happy that this league will be softcore: As a softcore player you can alway decide to play HC or not. As a dedicated HC player you do NOT have such an option.

If anything strongboxes and free and easy loot getting dumped into Standard is ruining it. On top of all the hardcore RIP's dumpstering all their loot there too.

Before that it was shrines and loot pinatas.

Softcore leagues have been strolls through the park with stuff free dumped in your lap. That's so inexpressibly dull.

Well at least until I saw the combination of Onslaught, Nemesis and Invasion. That's such hilariously lulzy combination of mechanics that I'm almost tempted to try it in spite of Softcore.
