I don't mind to die 5/20/50/100 times and loose my characters - I would still try to go with next one ( same as 99% of HC players )... I prefer to do that than play SC ... all mods could be there all together for whole league, I don't mind ...

There should be SC and HC at same time. I was SC player for months but after I try invasion and 2week race I will never go back to standard or any other sc league.

about "alt+f4" or log-out scripts - me and many many others don't use that so this point is pretty shitty... If I die than I will, I don't have any problem with that ...

Just let everyone play what they like to play.

How is this tribalism at all conducive to POE's advancement? I wish all SC players well, and I play HC generally exclusively. I, like many, want to continue to contribute financially to POE. If that money comes from SC or HC, what does it matter? If we get alienated and draw ranks, it hurts the game.

I played Invasion from start to finish. I doubt you played it at all. The original invaders were not just overtuned, some were clearly coded wrong. Frost wall one shotted you. The ranged ones could attack you from two screens away, and when they did, they often hit for half your hp, stunning you, and then killed you with the second hit before you could move. That's much, much harder than anything in the new league.

I was really looking forward to this 1-month event until I read "non-hardcore". HC is what makes the game fun for me (the constant tension that at any point you can lose your character) and I really hope a hardcore version will be made.. If not, I guess i'll be doing something else until the new 4-month leagues are here.

I think its nice the HC community is so furious with there not being 2 Events with both HC and SC, but i must have missed the shitstorm when all other Races have been HC only ?

I really don't understand this "where is our sacrosanct HC?!" rage. Play the game, delete char if you die. Simple and totally HC, no? Or you just don't have the willpower to delete the char after its death (or just stop playing it), you'd rather delegate this oh so sophisticated and painful task to the game? Meh.

Those people weren't going to play anyway, considering the last 2/3 of Invasion were perfectly well balanced.
