Jesus H Christ.....stop whining. The vast majority of these special events are hardcore only.
"Why not make a hardcore version too like always?" You mean like the non-hardcore version of the two-week charity race? Oh wait, that was hardcore only, wasn't it? I am not anti-hardcore. I quite like hardcore in short term race events, and couldn't imagine non-hardcore races. For anything longer than a couple days though, I just don't enjoy hardcore leagues. Maybe it has something to do with the fact I don't ever alt-f4, so if shit gets real I actually die (i.e., situations longer than instadeath but shorter than the time it takes to portal), idk, but I like non-hardcore leagues because I can push my limits without worrying about losing days/weeks worth of effort. And yet, somehow I managed to not bitch and complain when there wasn't a non-hardcore 2 week charity league. Sure I was bummed that it wasn't aimed for me, but I had the consolation of thinking that maybe, in the future, a non-hardcore event would happen--and now it is. Maybe this league isn't for you. That's too bad, certainly, but don't act like that exact same thing hasn't happened to non-hardcore players with previous events. I didn't play the 2 week charity because it didn't fit my tastes, and you don't have to play this one if it doesn't fit yours. |

The antagonizing 'Standard versus Hardcore' posts need to stop. Accounts may be probated if they continue with comments of this nature.

this is one chris will learn from a non hc league event in a game which is mostly attractive to hc player will be a nail in the coffin for poe enjoy your 1 month league without the hc community i wont play it whats the point to play a game which i cant lose ? dude my build is shit but i do millions of dps... what a dumb decision cu in 1 month id rather read my game of thrones books in the sun than being bored in a sc league in no time https://poe-ssf.herokuapp.com/. There is a sizable segment of the player base that enjoy hardcore. When you get used to hardcore it's very difficult to ever go back. Considering there is nothing going on for a 6 week period (1 week of nothing before and after the 1 month league) I can't see a reason why there couldn't be 1 SC and 1 HC league. | |
" It was during the normal 4 month league. If people didn't enjoy it they can simply continue playing the 4 month league. People are complaining specifically because they want to play. No one is threatening, they're simply stating that they won't play because they enjoy playing HC. Ever since leagues have started there has always been a HC league going on for this subset of players. Some people in this topic are being unnecessarily rude.
