Hi

I find it humorous how the last few BOTW have been very heavy on the hard to get items which Chris considers somehow not that hard to acquire, way to be in touch with the game. Otherwise EK is one of the coolest spells in the game, nice to see it showcased.

I would love to see a cheap BOTW and a dream BOTW because I was under the impression this was started to promote cool cost economical builds.

cheers

Seriously, I don't get all the crying here. A low budget build is somethink everyone of us can easily achieve by playing the game a couple of days. Sure, some budget builds are more viable then others and a few are really elaborate and awesome (these are some of my all time fav's).
However, as Chris mentioned in the video these dual totem EK build is something you work on for the entire season. Many of us may never obtain such great items but it's IMHO still nice to see where you are headed if you don't give up.

build of the week - aka something fun and casual that works - every week I am supposed to fetch 100 exalts LOL.

They are out of touch with the game and community, simple.
I think these builds are necessary evil, even if it's generic Dual Totem build, no matter what spell it features. It might be interesting to do some sort of

1. week - leveling build (30-60 progression build)
2. week - top notch build like this - something with million dps and 20k ES for 400Exalts and half of stuff mirrored from Standard
3. week - budget build that will work after lvl 70 with little or no gear
4. week - some crazy shit about exploiting mechanics (snapshotting, weapon swaps, party synergy builds for 2-3 man groups or even what to avoid on the tree)

Most BotW videos i like are featuring the new skills rather than taking something from the past that everything seen thousand times on streams. And let's face it. I think majority of the players that watch the youtube videos go to twitch from time to time and read forums so they know what is already working.

Notice how the totems had literally zero survivability and died within like half a second to any kind of sustained damage? Something needs to be done about that.

price for being immune to reflect (player, totem still dies)

GGG, are you serious?

yeah sure, "Low On Life" build is so easy that any players who want that build can do that shit. HA!

two build in a row with "Low On Life"? jesus
I think this whole "Build of the Week thing" has turned into nothing but a big gear showoff.

The last videos we didnt see any good build, we just saw guys with 100 exalts worth gear who could make any build work with that...

No synergies at all, no clever passive trees, no clever use of game mechanics.

Just uniques, uniques and uniques that are all BIS + some insane rares and of course they are all level 100 (which is hilarious too).

Compare these builds to the ones posted early season 1.

Its like a different game...
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

So much crying!
The build of the week doesn't have a specific goal.
It is just builds GGG finds interesting.
It is also how they reward/highlight people that put in the effort to make really good guides.

I really love the idea of a showcase video showing the fight a hardcore char died in.
Not that you don't have enough going already but highest level death of the week would make a great series too.
When I kill a man he stays dead.

This build was objectively uninteresting and uncreative.
