The 7 link is nice but once you factor in that a one handed wand or dagger can get better overall damage boost, then add in that es shields can get huge damage boosts and defensive boosts...... ya I would say it is definitely not op.

The people saying that this is gonna be a casters soul taker are being a little fast to judge imo.
Staff is probably going to be one of the higher tier uniques (rarity wise) - So it will end up being fine its not really BiS since many casters use crit which that staff seriously lacks. I would not give up
for that staff.

Also you will not be able to use MoM with low life es char because MoM only works with life. I made this mistake making a character before. MoM only kicks in when damage would affect your life pool not es pool.

Echo seems pretty overpowered. I foresee the "less" being more than 10% in the future. They should have just introduced it as 36% like in multistrike.

All in all I'm really excited for this patch and pissed off at GGG because I have to study for the bar instead of messing around in PoE.

Ah crap, there goes my build hypothesis out the window.
EK should be about the same I figure (self-cast).

Decrease in DMG and base cast time will likely cancel each other out, and 20% decrease in mana cost will generally cancel out with the fact that the spell is being cast 20% more rapidly.

So - in the end it'll probably just be more fun to use as a speedier spell :)

I only hope that Echo isn't too OP and hurts build diversity. Things like echo+Arc going to provide ridiculous map clear speeds.

You can only stack ele, crit and phys. What else do you want?

A pure physical build that doesn't rely on crits. Why can't I do this?
