Hey Redoxe, I'd like your opinion on what I should upgrade, worked my way to lvl 81 and it's working great so far. Pretty much the only pieces I need a real upgrade are weapon-chest-(amulet?).
I don't know if doryani is even a good choice anymore because lvl 6 catarina can add 1% fire dmg leeched as life so I believe getting a sceptre-wand with just as much spell+fire dmg and even more cast speed than doryani is way cheaper and then add the leech for 4c. On amulet only thing missing is the corruption, there aren't any for sale with fire leech so either I leave it as it is or try to selfcraft. And last the chest it's pretty much all about the sockets.
100% elemental damage is hard to beat as it both increases the initial hit and then also for the burn. Spell damage only works for the initial hit. +2 level to cold spells for AA and 50%+ mana regen is what rares brings to the table that Doryani's Catalyst don't.
If you already have a Rathpith then try to get a 5l first, then either look for a great rare weapon or a Doryani's Catalyst, depending on what stats you value the most.
Also, congratulations on the Rainbowstride drop!

Man getting a rathpith globe on Beyond is literally impossible.
I am level 80 now and only find absolutely trash items in level 70+ maps like leveling uniques.
Im really wondering how to get my hands on a globe...there are like only 6 beeing sold with extremely lowrolls and still 3-4ex+....
You could always settle with one that has bad rolls for now. Even if it doesn't have perfect spell block it still gives you enough of a survivability boost to make it worth it. I bought one with a bad roll at first and then saved up for a 60% one that I bought a couple of days later.
Beyond character update:
Spoiler
6l acquired! Bought a new ring that will allow me to get chaos resist on other pieces while still staying overcapped. 60% spell block Rathpith! Now I only really need a Doryani's Catalyst to finish the build.
i spend 67 chaos trying to 6socket and link it, ended up with 5 sockets and not a single time 5link....
Ouch. That's unlucky. I would never try to 6l something myself, don't want to end up like one of those people who are 4k fusings deep with nothing to show for it. Traded it for my Kaom's Heart.

Didn't know it works like that so I guess doryani's is still better. I bought a 42% rathpith for 4c from a guy who quit playing hc and then used a divine I had and got 58%. I get 75% instead of 76% spell block so I won't bother with it for now. Rest of the gear is pretty ok too I think, 75/75/75/-18 resists, got enough STR/DEX for all lvl 20 gems so I guess I'll try to self craft 6 sockets on my cloak then get 5link from vorici.

Just got a new weapon that might be able to compete with Doryani's Catalyst:
All the stats you would want in a weapon! If only the rolls were a little bit higher.

Eh just read on the wiki that unlike what you said "% increased Spell Damage, % increased Fire Damage, % increased Elemental Damage" all scale with ignite dmg twice. So again from the wiki
1)"The damage of the hit/spell is increased, resulting in higher ignite base damage"
2)"The resulting ignite effect is scaled again by the same modifiers."
So if that's true I come true to my words that rare sceptres are better now that we can add fire leech.
Also another question ( ye I know I start to become annoying).
I read that increased ignite duration doesnt actually increase your dmg because the ignite lasts longer but it makes the dmg apply slower which means same dmg but less dps. So my question is why did they even create a passive that gives 20% ignite duration without anything else tied to it? I don't see any case that this could be beneficial so it's like a 20% less dps point. Of course you have to take it because there is 20% fire dmg and 10% chance to ignite behind it (and another 20% increased duration bleh) but it really feels like a wasted point.

The wiki is not correct on that part, Mark even posted about it earlier this month. I'm 100% sure that burn duration will increase the overall damage.
