[PETITION] Remove Short Allocation

Hi All,

Plain and simple, remove this option, it serves no purpose other than to deny players the chance to gain loot. This is doubly so for ranged chars or those that aren't moving as fast as the rest of the group.

SA is literally seconds! By the time you have cleared a mob the loot that was meant to be yours is now FFA!! This ends up with the player getting FA!

It's a worthless option used by greedy people on the front line in the hope to steal loot from others in the group who are contributing 85% of the DPS.

Please GGG, do the 75+ map runners a favour, remove this option.

Preference is not a reason to keep or remove anything.

I think you're mixing up Short Allocation with Free-For-All. Short Allocation provides loot tension without it instantly being "melee gets all the items".

Well, it's easily possible for ranged characters to get their loot on SA, and not everyone enjoys PA. I prefer SA over FFA and PA.

We do. We see that you personally do not like SA and want to remove it simply because you don't like it.

If you don't like it, don't play with it. Simple.
