Improved Hailrake Fight in 1.1.3

Great thoughts as usual Chris and C,O. I would, however see a overhaul of the Lightnings Thorns. Fast hitters already has to deal with the way Armour works in this game, so LT adds more to that pain.

Other than that I don't have any complaints. I've yet to find a descent unique in POE but strangely enough, I'm still here. So I guess I kinda enjoy this game.

As always, keep it up, loving the updates.

I do understand your point of view, I really do. The thing is that ''Any player should be able to play any league'' is wrong, IMO. It Should require a certain type of player to be able to do well in, lets say Invasion. That's the whole point of it. The ''Cream de la Cream'' of the player base. (now, before I get every single softcore player in my behind, I'm a softcore player myself)

Hardcore's for those who want that Extra, the tension and the planning ahead. If Hardcore is so easy that even a new player can do well in it, what's the point?

I remember having many deaths to hailrake when I first started playing PoE... until I learnt you could actually *skip content*.

Seems like an interesting change. As someone else said, it could make Hailrake harder for melee chars. Looking forward to it.

If Storm Herald is a problem, you should get some lightning resist. By some I mean 70+ and possibliy a Fairgave's Tricorne.

Umm, I don't really believe people were skipping him because he is hard. It is just pointless to kill him. I have done some farming runs there if I wanted to get a bit higher ilvl gear while I haven't reached the next act.
People wouldn't skip if there was a point in killing him.

can you maybe work on the Rima fight too?

dodging her rapid-fire traps is a bit aggravating

and when can we expect 1.1.3 to be released?
