Uber Atziri Down! (My build inside)
" If it means you have to have perfect understanding of a game like PoE (which most player won't even get to the bottom of it) and that you have put some tremendous amount of game time to actually get it then it's fine... I would hate it if a uber drop from Diablo II was bad, that would make no sense in killing them. High risk, high reward, everybody loves that. Gambling? anyone? " Why are so many people whining/complaining about such a rare awesome item? The whole point of a loot based game is to hunt/kill/grind for epic gear. If you don't like the item, or think it's "game-breaking" don't play with it. Why be so concerned about what other people use and do? Besides, this is a pretty difficult item to acquire. This particular item has been capable of dropping for almost a month now, and there is currently one in existence. Hardly capable of breaking the game... And as far as RF is concerned, again, why do people care so much about a build they don't like or think is boring to play? Don't play it then. Who cares what other people play? They're are too many people in this world with such negative attitudes, too worried about what other people are doing, just because these people are finding some kind of loop-hole to get ahead (and not hurt anyone else in the process). All this misplaced anger towards Dsfarblarwaggle and other RF users and such is rather sad... IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion Last edited by DeathTouch#6609 on Mar 31, 2014, 7:09:14 PM

" because its the most overpowered in the game and GGG has lost any credibility they had with regards to overall game balance. rarity alone isnt a good balancer. otherwise, why disable legacies when you could have just make their rarity much higher. IGN: Arlianth

" Yep. Egg-fucking-zactly. You're one smart cookie! There is no way I could have a different opinion about a completely different game play element because, hell, if I'm neutral about snapshotting then I must be neutral about ANY and ALL game play mechanics. Can you please teach me more about how to play on the Internet? I obviously don't get it. POE Serenity Prayer: GGG, grant me the serenity to accept the RNG I cannot change,
the courage to challenge any unbalanced content, and the wisdom to avoid the forums. Mad: "Oh, it's simple and if you insist... I just think you're a dick. That's all." QFT: 4TRY4C&4NO |

There is so much hatred and jealousy in this thread it is sickening.
There are so many posts about snap shot, when most of the posts clearly show their OP's have no idea what it even entails. Snap shot, stats on cast, etc, those mechanics are very clearly built into the game. I feel most don't truly understand what they're going on about. Snap shot of auras was fixed* When you enter a zone, the aura is 're-cast', so that you can't run into somewhere, cast them, take those off and carry on. You can still do this, even post fix. Riddle me this; How would you do this for say, a specter? The gem 're-casts' WHAT on load? What specter? Where does it get a corpse? So the gem re-casts, but what does it cast on? This isn't a self-cast gem, like an aura. This needs a corpse, the right type of corpse, it's right level, etc. Where does it get this on a map load? Hmmm? Where does it get this? Right now, it probably gets it from a variable/array (or a few of them) that hold the creatures data, gem modifiers, etc on cast, when you cast it, but where the fuck would you get that on load of a new instance? Where do you pull that variables data from? What populates the array? There is no data! So what? On load, we check has summon? yes. If has summon, what type? type. Ok, so we have a creature. Then what? How many calls to the server? I built a shop once, that had over 100+ product queries on one page because that's what they wanted, and the page load was insane. Hundreds of products, all data pulled in query after query, what would this do to a game server? I'm no C+ programmer, but I've got an idea that if you have a few thousand players making several extensive queries every second, you're going to need one heck of a behemoth powering that. Everything is already handled server side, how big a hit would this be? What else does snap shot, or how it's mechanics work, effect? If the mechanics allowing it change, what all does that break? They said, they couldn't fix legacy items, because once 'stats are rolled, they are rolled'. Is this same coding logic true for spells, minions and etc? Does that mean they would have to 'hand craft' or manually govern this? GGG, if you're reading I would actually be interested in the complications regarding this issue. It intrigues me. That, and I'd like to talk to whoever did your web to in-game interface, it's quite impressive. Your game and web pull from the same/joined/communicating data-bases? You obviously have a cdn. I've often wondered this. It looks like it's run with Javascript/php, and that is very impressive. IS my entire character a few rows in an SQL table? Do I get my own table? ;) Derp on Last edited by gr00grams#5298 on Mar 31, 2014, 7:31:08 PM

" I dont really care what others wear and what their dps is, but unique items that are easily BiS is not a good design nor a design GGG strived for in the first place. this item is already insane even if this was just instant life leech, in light of VP being nerfed immensely and crit builds only bane was reflect and investing tons of nodes in crit so going to VP took SACRIFICE. these gloves are just way too good for crit and they make a CoC build fucking insane. theyre easily bis item for any crit build there is |
|
GGG way of balancing: "Lets ruin VP and destroy all CI casters! but w8...we need some way to compensate, lets make some stupidly op unique that will drop from even more retarded op boss that only tanks with 100% fire res and exploiting can ever beat"
Lets keep making more and more broken uniques and ruining all good existing uniques making it legacy so standard economy will be even more inflated and fucked up wasteland. What happened to a game I once loved? |

their rarity just makes it an even more lucrative rmt market. i would be shocked if they sold for anything less than a mirror.

My estimation for the first pairs in standard,is that it will be way more than a mirror .That being said,i d gladly take the old vaal pact+legacy maligaros over these gloves.

" Well it's kindof a different situation. These gloves in some cases save builds an immense amount of passives which will end up far more than making up for Maligaro's 50 crit multi and 20 crit, 5 AS, whilst also giving you life, a decent chunk of armor and granting instant mana leech as well. I'm personally rather disappointed with the whole Uber Atziri situation. To me it should have been more along the lines of kill regular Atziri 4-10 times to do Uber and get a GOOD unique. Instead it's kill her 100 times then get break the game with your new item. A list of all my builds and guides - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1099189
