its so funny, does not matter what build it was, the first build to kill Uber Atziri was doomed to be called OP, does not matter what build did it.

It's not op, it's just silly. Constant IC, 100% resists, 5L Kaom, Triple curse without the rings...

im really starting to believe ggg is inventing legacy items on purpose because i cant find any other reason why they allow such an op item(gloves) to go live. An item that will be nerfed in the future most likely.
I mean they MUST see that those gloves are the most op stuff ever existed but they just dont care -_-

If they didnt see it, we've all been telling them since those gloves were first shown.

Idk if they do it on purpose. Maybe they just wanted to have some kind of fancy reward for the difficult kill and they just went a little crazy with it, forgot completely how to balance uniques for a moment. And voila, OP item, BIS unique. That item should have never been released into the game.

The gloves would not have been OP without the changes to leech and vaal pact. I wonder if they designed them before making those changes.

Why Doryani's and not dual redbeaks?

Depends on the roll of Doryani's Catalyst, but with his the damage is higher than with another Redbeak, because the implicit +10% increased elemental damage are also applied to RF.

All I can say at this point is I'm glad I'm not playing the version of PoE that the OP is playing.
