So I had a few questions regarding armor as it is the last thing I need to really upgrade.
- Cloak of Defiance users: I just found this armor and was wondering how much of a difference it makes to you? Is this potentially the best armor for this build? Is Lavianga's Spirit really required or a nice thing for emergencies? - Is it better to use Tabula Rasa than a 5L? The mana pool never seems to really go down (I avoid the 50% regen maps) so a little bit more mana and a couple hundred more life since the patch changes are making me question whether I should make the switch or not. I'll probably be testing my 4L Cloak of Defiance and my Tabula for a little bit, but I'd like to know what people who have used them think. |

" -Matter of preference between Lightning Coil & CoD. LC = More auras, less mana regen. CoD = All round defense + effective lifepool, very large hits may deplete mana pool. Hence Lavianga to be used when it happens. -6L really just adds extra omph to a 5L, either is fine if you have no issues, a 5L can go with you to endgame -If it's Tabula vs 4L CoD, go Tabula, your 5th link adds Added Chaos/Lightning or Fire Pen (depends which is your 4th, the other will be your 5th) which increases dps greatly. |

I was using 5l armor before I found the tabula and it is a huge improvement, more than you would think from just 1 more. Also, the pain and agony of burning through chroms to get it just right.

you should try Herald of ice... it adds so many dmg!!!! more than Haste
and it ignite enemies... does it works with the herald of fire AOE when killing ignited enemies???don't know. |

when using the herald of ice, i have seen that many targets becomes ignited but i have only 5% chance to ignite....
so if with only 5% we could ignite targets, we dont need more than 5% chance to shock in order to shock most of the targets too. I have decided to remove two passive points (10% chance to shock from static blow and the +8% lightning dmg near it). And it still shock everythings! so with those 2 passive points, and the less mana reservation from Herald of Ice i can add tempest shield and 2 more block chance nodes in the tree. i am now at 75%/75% block chance and my dps is the same than before with haste. (but haste was lvl18 and herald of ice is only lvl7 with 0 quality...) more survivability and more dps.
