"I sure wish this item had reduced attribute requirements on it"
" Wasn't it merely the presence of stats that dictates this? As in items without any stats have equal chances. Items with only strength requirements, regardless how high, have a strong bias to red slots etc. That's how I've always understood the system and seems to match my chrom attempts on lower and mid level items. Higher level/stat requirements have a propensity to roll 'their' colours more often. Dev confirmed somewhere before that an items with reduced requirements mod would have a greater chance to roll off colours

" I would agree with you if a pure stat number wasn't superior in every way. If you're missing dex getting +40 dex on that chestpiece is far better than this mod. For leveling up it's a nonissue. You can use that ammy with reduced attribute requirements if needed. Last edited by kasub#2910 on Mar 12, 2014, 9:33:15 PM

" Sure, I agree and I'd much rather have that mod for the additional benefits it confers, but in a case like that, it's one more mod that makes the item useable for that particular toon: a good thing, I think. " ... and it's a solid third option if you don't already have that slot filled with something you can't unequip for whatever reason. Good mention. It may be my luck or my playstyle at fault, but it always seems that it takes longer to find upgrades to my jewelry than any other class of equipment. |

is this about poe1?
in poe2 i would love to have more of it ;) rolling gemling for the "adaptive capability" with a focus on str feels bad when you still have to get ~157int for some scepter anyways. deeper than that, i think "adaptive capability" should actually work for scepters since the int req on it is based on the "free gem" it gives.
