Love the build. One issue I am having is with Shield Charge having such a small radius for applying fortify. Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

I can charge into a pack of mobs or even repeatedly charge at one boss and not have it apply.

sounds odd, do you have lockstep mode on? could be that. But it should be applying all the time you charge, you can see in my Malachai video that everytime I charged I got fortify without problems.

Hi, i have already started following your build and its been great, but i have a question to ask you.
you mentioned in your Gem section "3L: Reckoning/Curse, Cast When Damage Taken - Tempest Shield (lv 1)"

so I keep all 3 gems at level 1 or just tempest shield?
could you please mention the optimal gem level of each if its not level 1 for all 3.
and u said u were gonna change your equips based on armour, does that mean ur gonna change carcass or keep it?

Hi, where do i get life from? I have almost no life on hit, where do i get this?
Also, im running ice crash now with 2k dps but when i unequip my weapon and equip facebreakers i drop to 900 dps. I do have almost all the +physdmg% nodes.

Do you use saffell's frame for just magical opponents or can it be used as a general shield? Would you recommend getting it when there is a limited budget? And maybe got for something else instead? On what occasions do you make use of your different shields? Thanks for helping me out.

You get life steal from blood rage, and it resets the timer whenever you kill a monster so you always have it up. Also what boosted my dps with facebreakers is a abyssus helmet.

I don't recommend it as a general shield, it won't let you block any physical damage. If anything don't use Saffell if you're on a budget.

As for when I swap to it, only on magic heavy bosses, like Piety, Volcano Boss, Crematorium Boss and so on. Otherwise I always have my Evasion shield on.

Your jewelry belt and helm probably don't have the recommended stats, you should look for Abyssus for helm, Meginords Girdle for belt, and for jewerly find stuff with high physical damage.(9-15 for rings if possible)

Yes you can, you'll need the Mana Reserve jewel (quest reward) and to take the extra 4% mana reserve node for a total of 18% from the tree.
