[2.3] Shakk's Cyclone Build. A story about a man and his fists.
Hmm.. why bother that auto-equip thing, when you can just take the option of auto-equipping off?
| |
" It lets you level 6 gems in those inactive weapons. Plus like I said earlier I used to race alot so I had to have auto-equip on and sometimes forgot to turn it back off.
New video added, recorded it today.
Backs up what I said about killing bosses in seconds on endgame maps. Level 77 map, Shrine Boss. (hurray for desync midfight) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek7KNEuxm3c Also added some thoughts on 5L under ramblings. Last edited by ShakkaFL on Mar 13, 2014, 10:52:03 AM

What do you think about this build? I added all 3 Endu Charges for Imoortal Call, to be immune to phys reflect with CwDT, and also took the passive that makes enemies not able to leech from me just because 8% life on it also. Could this work? Also will Tabula Rasa do fine until I foind good 5L or 6L? Last edited by Qraparta on Mar 13, 2014, 11:16:37 AM

" The build you posted is about lv93 amount of passives, at that point it might be better to grab the +2 maximum resist node (Elemental Adaptation) above templar tree with 2 passives points. Also do remember I took the +10% res with shield because I needed those resistances, if you don't be sure to grab the +2 block and +1 block 12% spellblock on the Phalanx cluster. Enemies leeching from you will never be a problem unless you plan on pvp, then still, this isnt the greatest pvp build since anyone with puncture will beat you easilly. Tabula does fine, but you might end up being bit squishy, I would focus abit more on defensive passives if I were using it. Last edited by ShakkaFL on Mar 13, 2014, 1:51:42 PM

" Thanks for the reply. Getting to 90lvl doesn't take that much time or effort, so that ain't the problem either. And about the can't leech passive, it's just 1 point for 8% life and you can remove that from templar life ring, they are 8% also, but nothing more, so imo taking 8% + no leech from you is better :D Last edited by Qraparta on Mar 13, 2014, 2:19:21 PM

I'm kind of new to the game, I was leveling a cleave shadow that can't work anymore due to the 1.1.0 life leech nerf. Is this build effected by that? and also how should I go about leveling in a new league? starting off with nothing what gems should i pick up and level especially before i get cyclone? other than that looks like a really promising build thanks.

" Leech nerf isn't really noticeable, since your life regen is so high with this build that even when you're not hitting something you're getting over 300 life per second. As for leveling a new character, you will probably need a Facebreaker at least :p . Then you go Infernal Blow untill you can use Cyclone gem. As for gems you should keep an eye for are all the gems I listed on the gems part, for aura gems hatred and grace are the most important ones, for dps support faster attacks melee physical added fire and concentrated effect. Eventually you'll need blood magic gem, but that switch will happen once you get a 5L or 6L. For the tree when you start, you should rush for Resolute Technique, then go for Iron Reflexes, leave block nodes untill lv60-70
Thank goodness I decided to wait on the other facebreaker cyclone build page. This is so much better, and that's just the title alone. Going Mara with this instead for those first couple of damage nodes instead of the 4% attack speed.
Tree build.

" Think it's better if you get to the Golem blood cluster and Testudo block cluster from the right instead of the left, since getting dex will be harder than getting enough strength for gear requirements. Also don't understimate the + to max res nodes, they're quite good. You can experiment later on with what gives you more dps from the Marauder start if it's the 3 attack speed nodes or the 3 physical nodes. Last edited by ShakkaFL on Mar 13, 2014, 7:23:46 PM
