Used vaal orb and nothing happens

It could also allow more than 20% quality, so yes there are some outcomes which won't be visible untill you lvl it/get it to (and maybe than over) 20%q

ok thanks=) kinda wierd that i cant see it but ok

I think vaal orbs can have no effect at all besides making the item "corrupted".

Most likely either truly did nothing, or gave it +1 to max level.

You can only get more than 20 quality if you use the Vaal Orb on a 20 quality gem. It adds or subtracs from the current value.
Same with level. If you get +1 skill gem level on an level 7 gem, you get a level 8 gem that you can level to 20 (because that is the max). If you get the +1 gem level on an level 20 gem you get the level 21. “Demons run when a good man goes to war"

I used orb on my infernal blow, it gave it 40% increased physical damage, BUT no change was shown to my dps on the icon on my bar... is it really not giving me anything or is there some sort of glitch?
