[Project] Map Statistics!

Oh, another quick question: I assume that you do not want us to include unique maps that drop, correct? AFAIK, those come from the usual "oh hey a unique dropped! time to figure out what the hell it is!" RNG as opposed to the map generation RNG.

Correct. Both Unique maps that drop and UNID maps that you run do not matter.

Also, that field on legacy was just an incorrectly set field (max of 100 not min, whoops!) It's fixed now.

Awesome. :) I don't think I've said yet how happy this whole project and website makes me. I'm very impressed with the speed that you've responded to and fixed things, the cleanness of the styling, etc. Keep being awesome! And if you ever want help with the site or the data analysis once there's a decent sample, let me know! (I'll admit, most of the reason I offer the latter is the stupid amount of glee I feel at the thought of seeing all the raw data. XD)

I will take a closer look tomorrow. The only feedback I can give right now is: Make the link in the OP clickable.
Apparently that doesn't parse automatically for some reason. Fixed, enjoy clicking.

To entice more submissions, here's a chart of just currently collected data (100 or so entries) with some colors to show map drop rate vs level and quantity of run maps

I for one fully support this. The community DESPERATELY needs a large scale data collection and analysis of map drops. I will be submitting all my map runs from here on out :)

I am guessing that with enough entries (10k? no idea...), it may be possible to determine what map pool size and what rolls are necessary to sustain solo mapping at any given map tier!
The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard
The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard

Since google is hard
You're spamming that link all over reddit and whatnot trying to get people to pay attention to it when they can't add to it or learn from it. Don't get me wrong if I can find a way to use your stats I will, but the bottom line is I can't do anything with them as formatted and you haven't done any analysis on them like I hope to be able to do. Either way, <1000 entries still isn't nearly what I hope to get to do large scale analysis :)

Im not the one that made it.
That's actually the template I used for my map log (although I added a couple more columns for things I wanted to keep track of); I'd be willing to go through it manually and add them through the legacy form, if you think the data's worth using. Alternatively, if you're willing to parse a CSV file that has only the data you want in a clear easy-to-use way, I'll whip something up in Perl to get the useful bits out of it.
