Domination/Nemesis Challenge and Race Season Six Winners

The gem changes are something I love seeing, keep players on their toes instead of having everyone go with the kill everything go-to build. I see lots of new builds coming out with the availability of higher level gems. I just hope the dominant builds don't become even more powerful because of this. Everytime I see WTB soultaker in trade chat I die a little inside...

I'm liking the whole concept of vaal orbs, but I just hope there isn't an immediate fixed 'value' placed on these by the player base. The drop rate might be around the same as the chaos orb, but if these are as useful and widely needed I would like to see it have more value than a chaos. Or if the RNG is too much for players maybe even value it less than a chaos.

And you do realise that not everyone gives a hoot about the leagues right...so yes there will be capped gems as well as lot of gear that will be dumped into the standard economy aside from all that lot that is getting sold off there already.

Your idea of 'crying' seems to be wildly skewed. Balance issues will affect all leagues, and if those corrupted items are seriously overpowered it will affect all the economies. Basically it will be impossible to sell anything that is not corrupted. So the entire rng on other gear will make them about as sellable as a white.

If there is no downside to corrupted, there will be no 'upside' to anything else and game economies will simply revolve entirely around corrupted items.

There are a certain amount of 'must have' items in the game for high end builds...koams...BoR etc. If they then overbalance with corrupted even the legacy items will suffer and will eventually be totally lost to the game when people start selling them off to casual players who might not stick around for long...

New things in a game are great, but balance must take priority. Lets just hope they got that balance right.
